Pretty sure he's not a movie star anymore.

But the MKX digital series and comics say that Johnny has his own "offshoot" Special Forces unit,

So now as Sonya I can do a fatality on Cassie? Sounds dumb. Johnny, Sonya, and Jax shouldn't be playable in this game. For story, they're ok.

Cage is good looking in that pic, he's just way more rugged than the pretty boy we're used to. I guess 25 years of being an "army captain" after saving the world by beating the shit out of invading demons will do that to you.

And as [MENTION=18507]Harpoon[/MENTION] said, the model could easily have changed since then.

Well just cause he stopped acting wouldn't mean he would suddenly look different. And I realize its in the future so the argument is that time hasnt been so great to him. Im justsaying father time seemed to hit Johnny harder than Jax or Sonya.

Ya I read the comics. I thought Johnny looked better in the comics than this screenshot, however we dont know what time that screen shot was taken story wise, so maybe thats why he looks older...

Ya I def get the more rugged look, Im just not personally a fan of how it turned out. Oh well, just happy hes in the game.

Well, but he is not thaaaaaat bad. He is just older.

He looks funny anyway.
 
I never complain usually but with how the roster is shaping up to how it will look like I am damn let down. How many special forces do we need. No bad guys. All good boring guys. Three military women with same outfit.
 
That Sonya looks terrible, but this is an early build. Look at how much Cassie has improved since E3. I'm sure Sonya will look better in the final game.

As for Johnny, he just looks a little weird without his shades. Look at the picture and imagine some sunglasses on him and he looks great.

He really doesn't look that different. Just more detailed. I'm not sure how what some of you people see when you look at that image. lol I think the shadows are throwing you guys off. It's not that bad.

It takes a lot more work for NRS to make Cassie, Sonya, and Jacqui's outfits look subtly different with next-gen graphics than it did for them to make Sindel and Skarlet look like different varieties of stripper back in MK9. A lot more work. NRS is not slacking off at all.

But the "lots of good guys" thing... yeah... yeah...
 
I'll be asking for gamer tags next month and using Jax to whoop everyone's ass who called him "boring" and "lame." Sonya Bland, yes, I'm talking about you, too.

So at least we have a balanced roster. Heck even the new characters are not anything special just normal humans with no power.
