The story is what makes MK different from any other fighting game series, other popular fighting games never focus on their storylines, or their stories are very very simple and minimal.
The "deep" story is one of MKs trademarks, similar to uppercuts, blood and gore, that's why fans gets upset over things like KL reveal.

well, when nothing is changing, we have slice point down the middle fatalties, a story that now makes no sense and negates mk9s retelling after fixing it.....by bringing back a dead character who legit is of no worth to the story....yeah thats a rehash...or a re-skin....like someo ne said this is lookin like mk gold....whats a bet KL does his stupid buzz saw fatality again, or his mk2 split one...ohh but it will be awesome coz its on new grpahics? ppffffttt

So many shot in the dark assumptions. We dont know story. You assume he is of no relevance after not knowing the story. Sigh...

Man, I love people like you, who complains about every thing that has no information about it

You're complaining about two fatalities that we've seen that has people getting split down the middle.

Ferra and Quan Chi? Yes? Because we've seen D'Vorah kill people with flies, Cassie does headshots, Kano bursts a hole through the head, Scorpion bursts a hole through the chest and slices the face off, Sub-Zero bursts a hole then tears them apart via their spine, Raiden just electrocutes, Kotal tears out hearts...

Man, those slice point down the middle fatalities are such a lame thing to see.


You're complaining about a story that we barely have any information on.

You and everyone else who has a problem with one measly character that has returned from the dead. You and everyone else who sees this as a major problem when you're following a story that is not that great.

We don't know a single thing other than this is to take place throughout twenty-five years. How in the world does a character who has been rose from the dead no worth to a story WE DON'T EVEN KNOW YET?

I swear, these complaints about the story coming from people get more hilarious time after time.

You're complaining about a character who we have absolutely no idea whatsoever other than what his variations are going to be like.


^See above, because it's just like complaining about the story. We have no idea about anything when it comes to the story. Over speculating without having any kind of patience just makes these forums more enjoyable to come back to. I love reading the complaints when there's lack of info. Because if people could just wait, just wait a bit, they'll eventually get the information they want to know so desperately.


And so what if he has a possibility to doing his classic fatality again? What's wrong with that?
 
Hell I want to see returning characters have their fatalities from mk9 plus two more ..Hell I'd love to stick trophies in your heads for 6 more years

The reveal trailer is the only thing before the game that can cease our speculation.

I'm somehow disappointed because it was him, he was dead, and aaaaall the gaps that it open

BUT

I'm only going to say "ok, I'm disappointed" with the reveal and its effects...or maybe not.
 
I just want to see more of these NEW characters that Ed keeps talking about.
Aside from the 4 characters that they showed at E3, every character shown is a returning character (7 thus far).

There's all this bullshit talk from Boon and NRS about MKX having more new characters than any previous MK game, but.....
