Konquest

I wouldn't say Raiden is always going to be in it... They've already put him in a position to leave once and for a while. Fujin held the Guardian of Earth Realm Reins (not that he got to do anything serious, paranoid Raiden took them back against the DA). so yeah if Raiden ever gets replaced it will properly be with fujin.

The edenians live a long time, so you can have them practically unchanged for a long time. Kitana, Sindel, Jade, Tanya... All of them.
 
a konquest mode with the shaolin monks mechanic.....awesome.the konquest mode imo was the best mode in deception.and with what iread about the MKA konquest it sound like it will be even better.long live mk.MKA imo will be the greatest mk ever.
 
danknz and 7th, I said it before in my THANK GOD forum that boon said that the only characters that will remain on the new systems are subby and scorpian.
 
Maybe the storyline starts off just before Deception and then later on in the game you see Raiden become evil.
 
You could bring Fujin in to deal with Raiden. Explains Fujin being there. Shinnok? Maybe Raiden is made good in the end to fight him. Stryker might have something to do with Hotaru since their both are law inforcers.
 
Characters

Odds are that most of the characters will be killed off (literally and for good) but is there any chance they shock fans and kill off a character like Raiden?
 
it's wierd Shinnok Raiden and Fujin are all gods and if Raiden is evil in MKA then the 3 gods will have to fight each other. The clash of the gods.
 
Fujin will fight Shinnok. Raiden will fight Shinnok. Shinnok wil fight either. Raiden might want to fight Fujin, but Fujin might be reluctant to fight back. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Then theres Onaga there and Shoa Kahn, they hate each other for Kahn's take over of outworld. :?

Theres also that Choas priest Havik and Hotaru the Sedian guard...

This is why I said before 'anyone for war of the realms' or something like that. There is someone from every realm.
 
it depends because in both havik's and kabal's ending it says that they got his ressurecting heart and they got it for themselves. If havik's ending was true then he woudl actually ressurect his clone not his true self remember? First Shang Tsung and Quan Chi killed him but in his biography it was a clone of himself so it's weird since there is a possibility of 2 shao kahns :( But if Kabal's ending is true then it's a whole different story.

I think havik's ending is most likely and yes i think that was a clone that Shang and Quan Chi killed so yeah it is the clone that havik will ressurect. :?
 
I'm surprised that there hasn't been more speculation with regards to this new mystery character that you play as in Konquest mode.

Has anyone besides me noticed that he's sporting what looks an awful lot like the Black Dragon logo on the back of his jacket? This game gets more and more interesting by the minute. 8)
 
i know this may sound far fetched, but i have the feeling the game will take place just prior to the end of MKD... kinda like how MK: Trilogy (essentially) took place during the MK3 timeline.

What i think, is that Onaga eventually becomes the One Being... hence the title "Armageddon", which explains how all the characters will get wiped out. Of course they'll have to pull something out of their arse in order to keep Subzero and Scorpion... but then again... don't they always? (case in point.... Johnny Cage.. how many times has he died now?)

i dunno. it's just a theory. probably wrong though.
 
JC has died only 5 times due to MK:D.

They are tying in all of the loose ends is what it said about it so yes many are going to die.

Scorpion will always exist since he is immortal/a Hell-Spawn.

Sub-Zero has many clan members who could take his place if he died.

The others really aren't Invincible like Scoprion since he can always return regardless of death.

Thus they will return. new charactes will replace the old ones such as like friends, allies, family, clan members/etc.

But it is also stated older characters will make scenes in future MK games. Maybe even playable.
 
Ok this topic is getting well...off-topic.

I hope they will make Konquest more like Deception's. I had more fun in that one. I hope they add a lot of side quests and secrets also.

Anyway back on topic:

I hope they make Konquest big... Not just BIG I mean HUGE.

Maybe Timed Events, villiages burning after certain time period/etc.

That would be cool.

Main character: *enters wounded and half dead* Oh right I've just arrieved at the first village I've seen in 5 days. I'm saved from the brink of death.

5 secs later the place catches fire and burns to the ground.
