Kollector's Edition...

I do NOT have a PS2...but I was looking at the sub zero kollector's edition at EB today.
Is it just me...or are there SERIOUS errors in the printing of that thing?
1. sub zero's alignment is "neutral"...unless boon plans major changes with the sub zero character in mk7, he is good (unless they're talking about old sub zero...won't ruin the spoiler for people who have not seen the ending of a certain character)

2. he has no allies?
3. one of his enemies is mokoch....is that like a porn version of moloch?
4. he is listed as one of his enemies...once again, barring that spoiler ending of another character...that seems a bit retarded....

all that to say it seems almost as if that is scorpion's bio and it's messed up
that's my two cents....
can anyone let me know if they've noticed the same thing

There seem to be a lot of typo errors throughout the game and on the packaging/in the manual...

There's a few pieces of production art that say Noob Concepts which are clearly other characters, one being Havik (don't remember the other)

Guess they just rushed this part of the game and only tested the fighting and game modes out, not the text that went with them

im glad i didnt waste 10 bucks more on the Kollectors edition...i read someone on gamefaqs said they didnt get a card, and another one said, though i dont know if i believe him, he got 2 cards and no bonus disk.

LMAO that'd suck...I got my card, pretty much worthless to me, and my bonus disk, just about priceless 8) (well, worth $10 anyway)

Glad to hear i'm hardly missing anything with opting out of the kollectors ed. I think that Havik was originally going to be Noob and later in production they just dedided to make him a new character. maybe it is just a mistake though.

Those cards are pieces of crap, unless everyone else's is better than mine. It's like they took a regular trading card and then glued it to a piece of metal. Plus the edges where the two pieces fit together are all messed up. I think it said it was made in China or Taiwan or something.

Anyway, I got both the disc and the card, so no problems for me.

What box did everyone end up getting?

I got Sub Zero for ps2

and Mileena for X box

i got my friend to buy scorpion at EB so i can have his card

so i need Baraka and Raiden...

has anyone seen Raiden at their wal mart? mine doesnt have him..

I have the Scorpion one for Xbox, and as I said before, those cards suck. You've got to be the biggest, most all-inclusive MK collector ever to actually have more than one of those crappy pieces of crap.

I got Baraka for xbox... I pre-ordered it from gamestop.com so I really didn't know what character I was going to get until it arrived at my house.

I really just wanted the bonus disc and it came with a 2 month live trial, seeing as I didn't have a live account yet it was worth the $10 for MK1, and 2 months of live.

Funny thing is, there are usually a couple of the cards on Ebay at any one time and I have yet to see a Sub go for less than $10 and I saw a X-box mileena go for $20+. Some people have nothing better to do w/ their money.

I got it mainly for MK 1, and I think that is well worth $10

The only thing that gets me confused is, why not just download a SNES Emulator, and get Mortal Kombat 1? There, saved ya 10 bucks, now save up for that three-humped unicorn-camel you always wanted.

Oh my! Are you serious? How about because the home versions of the game SUCKED compared ot the arcade version. Not to mention the SNES version didn't even have blood or all the real fatalitites. I have MK1 for my Genesis, but it's not even close to the same.

I actually have MK1 on MAME (arcade emulator) as well, but it doesn't even work right anymore. All you can do is throw the other person, no other hits will connect for some reason.

Also, it's legal to play the version on the bonus disc.
