MK3 Sonya, MK3 Kung Lao, MK1 or MK2 Liu Kang, MK1 Raiden, MK1 Kano, and MK1 Johnny Cage really deserve their outfits.

Well since having a Stryker classic wouldn't make much sense. Mileena already has 4 costumes. Kenshi still doesn't have an alternate. I don't mind an MK2 Jade and Kitana. The only classic I would think would be cool is a classic MK1 Kano, UMK3 Rain, and that's it. Sub-Zero should keep the mask on. Don't need to see shirtless thinks he's cool Sub-Zero lol his default is cool enough. A Sonya classic would be nice though because even though she looks like she is about to work out that's the Sonya I know and love. Jax doesn't need a classic. Just pick his default with the purple pants. The MK2 outfits for the girls are a lot different than the MK3 ones. I understand if you really like the ninja guys you want their mk2s but I want something different. Not just a mask change
Something that would never happen but I would kiss Ed Boon for lol would be Stryker's MK: Armageddon alternate for DLC. That SWAT balaclava and gear was so awesome.

With this info, we now know that were likely to see MK2 mileena aswell as the MK2 male ninjas. This means the NRS are hopefully planning 2 more compatability packs after rain.
We know were getting a 4th DLC character the ??? character. Hopefully this means the NRS is planning a 5th DLC character...
Just trying to bring something good out of this info.

Haha, if it was like that I would definitely look forward to downloading it.
Not excited about these klassics, would have rathered Sonya or someone else even though I don't play as her. But I can see why they wouldn't release any other klassics other than ninjas in these compatibility packs.. They would rather have us pay for those.

MKO received an official press release citing it being MK2 Kitana and Jade. The reason the official MK Twitter account wouldn't be saying anything is the same reason every other "direct from NRS" source isn't saying anything: the trailer is supposed to be the official announcement to the public, and that'll happen in about 7-8 hours (at least if the Noob/Smoke trailer is any indication).
Also, I half expect, based on Kitana and Jade, that compatibility pack #4 will round out the two sets of three klassics who didn't get one: Mileena and CSZ.

Except, unless you pre-ordered from Toys-R-Us at the very last minute (when Kitana was announced) and have a PS3 and bought the Blu-rays (the only way to get Jade in the US), the MK3 klassics are NOT free. The compatibility packs are for those who don't buy the DLC character, and in all likelihood, those same people didn't buy the Klassic Skins Pack. So these are the first FREE retros for them, just as Cyrax/Sektor and Noob/Smoke were free.
It seems to be a minority opinion, but I fully agree. The MK2 female outfits are vastly superior to the MK3 ones in virtually every possible way. Hair not being up, no stupid lacing up the front, and they actually cover up (I thought that was a complaint lots of people had: every female's outfit is too revealing?)!
Guess NRS knows how you feel about the females and Rain, so they intentionally included these with him, just to spite you. ;P
I bought the Klassic Skins pack, and I'm loving this! MK2 females should have been the pre-orders to begin with, seeing as they were the originals.
There will most likely be more DLC characters, so they'll need compatibility packs that will require free outfits too. So it's not like the remaining MK2 outfits and MK3 ones will never happen.
Wait for Klassic Skins Pack #2. All those would require more work than just a simple palette swap, so the likelihood of them ever being released for free is slim-to-none at best. The chances of them being paid DLC though are huge! Although I really want MK1 Kano!!!

the bun hair has always been ugly to me, mk2's were better.
They should have already had them. now we have 2 characters with too many costumes now. 4 costumes while most characters only have 2 is dumb on NRS' fault.
