Kitana & Cyrax Unveiled for MK 2011 at Gamescom 2010

I just want to post a big rant related to Gamescom 2010. I drove 1,000 miles to get to Cologne on the sole purpose of finally seeing MK in action. But it wasn't to be...

I walked (marched) to the WB booth just to discover that MK was nowhere to be found, although Gamescom mag (and many other sites like this one) mentioned that a playable demo of MK would be shown there. WB had a laughable booth comprised of demo stations of Scribblenauts and an 'eyes-only' demo of FEAR 3.

When I asked the first WB rep about MK, he told me he knew nothing about it. The second guy just told me WB made a 'last minute' change and decided to show it only to the press in a different, privileged-only, hall.

I'm sure I'm not the only one disgusted by this, and all the booth babes in the world can't make up for my broken heart. Germany, you suck.
 
How can Germany even let MK in the country? They censor violence so hard over there it's nuts. I'm sorry to hear you wasted a trip though...I know I'd be pissed.
 
I've been a fan of the cyberninjas since the fist day I've ever played a Mortal Kombat game (UMK3 for Genesis) and the designs are pretty sick imo.

Also, has anyone else noticed that Cyrax looks like the Jungle Hunter in Predator 1, and Sektor looks like Wolf from AvP: Requiem

I don't think there's that much of a difference, they just make it more metallic and such. I think for what they were trying to accomplish you have to look at it more from the angle of "well at least they didn't change it too much and risk completely ruining it."

lol, I know it isn't much different but I like the simple black rather than the metallic look. I don't know why they felt they needed to change it.
