That was a controller made by Sega for the PS2 in 2005, it's almost a perfect replica of the Saturn controller, which is the best pad for 2d fighting games in my opinion, all I needed was someone to build me a PS2 to XBox One converter, cause Sabrewulf is the only character you can play properly with the XBox One controller.

Saber combo style works well on fightstick (that goes for the entire cast) but on the xone pad it feels a bit clunky to me on the other side sadira on pad is very noob friendly as you can almost always do manuals...

Unless, you can play with the analog stick, then yes, that XBox One controller is god awful for fighters, I can't believe they invested so much time and money in redesigning the controller, yet they couldn't give us a proper d-pad.
 
I understand now. Although I wish these fighters controller can be sold publicly, legal-wise. There's should an universal fighting game controller (not arcade sticks) advertisement online, so I can buy for my fighters. (Although I'm pretty good playing Injustice on a regular 360 controller)

You got to mash that shit brotha lol oh and it must stay wired... I was dropping shit all the time, now it's better but you really have to punish you d pad before it works flawlessly

There is a device in the works over at srk. My friend gummo and a few other guys are working on a universal USB device.

Give it time, I'm pretty sure a company like Hori will eventually make a controller for the console, maybe not a fighter dedicated controller, cause they only do that for the Playstation (not counting sticks), but at least one with a solid d-pad, just don't expect one anytime soon.

Just curious, I know some of you have the CronusMax, anyone tried using the DualShock4 for this game?
 
I do not have the fight stick, but with the controller the only time I use the d-pad is when I play with Sabre. I think it is just but his b,f and d,u commands. Other than that, it is strictly analogue.
