So if they said there will be 4 DL characters Skarlett, Kenshi, Rain, and an unknown .Does this leave Freddy and Jason out in the cold????

No, As I recall there will be 4 DLC characters released this summer, And more to come after, If they are to be characters it will be for a Halloween Pack

I only want Freddy and Jason after we get the bosses first (don't know how likely that is though). Honestly though I'm a huge Jason and Freddy fan (Jason more than Freddy) and horror fan in general but personally I'm just a bit iffy on including them in the MK universe. Not because I don't think they fit, it just feels a bit gimmicky. That being said if they do become availble no doubt I'll end up getting them simply because I'm a sucker lol

As I said before, I'd definitely like them as DLC.
I don't know if it's already been said, but I'd hope Freddy and Jason would both be based on their old selves, with Robert Englund voicing Freddy. I admit I didn't see the Friday the 13th remake, so I don't know if Jason's character was any different in that one, personality-wise.
As alt costumes, Jason could have his very first design from the second F13 movie, before he wore the hockey mask, and the one from Jason X.

what kind of crap was NRS pulling when the posted the Freddy Trailer..i was hoping for Tanya or Reiko or maybe even Robo Smoke or Chameleon but Freddy? After watching the trailer im like holly smokes, he kinda blends in with the squad..i think im going to be having nightmares now lol

the reason I think its not gonna happen is because it would work too well. Freddy Vs Jason? sounds very possible right?
thats exactly why it wont happen, it makes too much since. and that kind of stuff isnt allowed in MK anymore. only random stuff no one is expecting(Freddy). People are expecting freddy vs jason, thats why they wont put them in.
start think of the most random shit for a character and it might be put in someday
