I think that all of us should not care about Mortal Kombat 8 right now. We should care and focus on MK: Armageddon now.

Don't wish your life away needlessly just because of a game, dude. The year 2008 will get here soon enough, no need to try and hurry it up. I know it's hard not get excited about MKA and then the next MK and so on and so forth. But live for the now and take each day as it comes. I am guilty of the exact same thing. As you know I like the game God of War. But I'm not holding my breath until March 2007 to play the much anticipated sequel, no matter how much I am dying to get my grubby little hands on it. Even I posted a brief post on God of War 3. As stoked as I am about the whole affair, I won't be holding my breath either until that game is rerleased.The 7th Number said:

I hope this is true, but they always find a reason to reintroduce old characters. I'm sure some of the characters that are killed off will make a comeback 2-3 installments later.

If any of the endings that MKU were able to record are true, and stay in the game, then they will be what if endings. Because i think all of them talk about gaining power from defeating blaze, or crisscross over other characters endings, which wouldnt make sense.

This will probably be the last new MK game I get, becuase I don't if I buy any next-gen systems, and if I do, it will be the Wii. I think armeggedon will probably be the peak of their 3d games anyways.

From Earlier Posts Ya Said From MK4 And Up The Characters Sucked. Reiko Was Great But His Ending Was Wack, Quan Chi Was From Mythologies, Shinnok Was Actually In The 2nd MK Movie, I Mean Go To IDMB An Look At The Cast. Kai was Pretty Cool...Gotta Have A Spiritaul Black Guy LoL. Mk4 Was One Of My Favorite Mortal Kombat Games Because It Was The Game To Launch Mortal Kombat As A 3d Video Game And They Were Granted The Rights To Up The Gore. And I'm Very Glad To see All Of The MK4 Cast In The Newest MK Games. But I Hate Tanya. Mileena, Kitanna, And Jade Are Enough Thank You very Much LoL.

Both Shinnok and Quan-Chi were from Mythologies and both of them rocked. Reiko and Tanya just popped out of nowhere with no backstory. In fact, both Reiko and Tanya were last minute half assed additions (and might I add reskins) for the sole reason that they didn't want to have Noob Saibot and Kitana again. Kai was an alright character. But that isn't what this thread is about, it's about being scared for MK8 which I most definitely am. I don't know if Boon will ruin it or not. Only time will tell.

Reiko Might Have Been A Reskin But There Have Been Plenty Of Other Characters That Rocked Who Were Reskins. Mileena Was A Reskin Of Kitanna, Sektor Was Cyrax's Reskin, And I'm Sure The List Could Go On And On. Alot Of Great Characters Started Of As Reskins. Although Tanya Was The Worst But Back To My Point, The Reasons Why Reskins Dont Take Off Well Is Cause Of Poor Storylines, Moves, Or Endings. And This Is Why MK8 Has Me Scared. Its Cause Of The Poor Story Lines & Endings For The New Reskins.

Yeah, Thats Where Midway Differs. They've Kept All The Characters And Are Bringin Em All Back For This Game...But Then Again Almost All Of The Characters Are Gonna Die Or Some Sh*t In The MKA Game...So By The Time There IS A MK8 Only A Handful Will Be In This Game...Ah Another Fear For MK8 The List Is Endless.

Don't even get me started on Kenshi. He's an Ermac wannabe and nothing more! Blind swordsman my ass. I was so happy when he died in the intro. I really don't know why they made another character with telekinetic powers...why not just put Ermac in his place in DA? Well...that's Boon for ya. And why you be dissin' Moloch and Drahmin? Oni are freakin' SWEET. And ahem, you speak of storylines, what was Reiko's again? Some general in Shinnok's army? Wow...great story. And his ending? He walks...into a portal....I commend the MK team on the vaguest of all possible endings.

Oni Are Lame Dude. Moloch Was Created To Be The New "Big Monster" Mini Boss Dude That You Had To Fight Before You Fought The D.A. Kinda Like Goro In MK 1 And Etc Etc. And Wow Drahmin A Little Tribal Lookin Zombie In a Damn Diaper, Mask And With a Little Club Not To Mention The Flies. I Guess Bam Bam From The Flinstones Thought Hey why not Smoke Crack And Audition For Mortal Kombat HaHaHaHa...And Yeah Reiko Did Have A Suck A** Ending In Mk4 But His Story Line Wasnt Bad In My Oppinion. And Kenshi I Do admit Is Lame For Having The Mind Powers Like Ermac. Shinnok Had Every1s Powers, Shujinko Has Every1s Combos...Lui Kang Used Numb Chucks (I Dont Care How Ya Spell It) But Last I Checked Johnny Cage Used Em First In D.A. So To Complain About One Character Using Anothers Powers Is Pointless In MK...Thats Like Saying Nightwolf Is Lame For Using The Shadow Kick Like Cage In Deception....Every1 Is Bout The Same Now Days.

Nightwolf never used the shadow kick...he used the shoulder rush which he did btw have in MK3 dumbass. I don't judge Shinnok on MK4 since he sucked (like the rest of the game), I judge him on MKM where he was BADASS. And styles and special moves are very different. Kenshi has no originality at all. At least a dozen Japanese blind swordsman movies were obviously his inspiration. Same reason I hate Stryker and Nightwolf. Hollywood characters are worthless.
