I've learned to accept the game the way it is. I don't have a problem with the stage interactions anymore, I like the fact that you must now be fully aware where you position yourself, they actually add more depth to the game, just because it doesn't feel the same as MK doesn't mean that it can't be played on a competitive level. The clash system is the only thing that annoys me a little right now, but they're supposed to improve it.

Sanchez said there's no way the clash system will stay the way it is, so yeah they're either going to scrap it or change it.

The nine second animation is whats wrong with it. Its also cheap (IMO). There is no reason why the breaker system couldn't work -- like someone uses a super on you; so you use an ex breaker, done! Clash is just a meter management tool used to gain more meter or waste you opponents meter, either was the person with the most meter wins = CHEAP.

Thats the problem. It takes up too much time. Compare the time it takes for a Breaker animation to finish to the cutscene of a Clash.

Clash is a dumb idea. Imagine if a character like Kabal was in it who could build meter ridiculously quick and could just save it for clash? It would be ridiculous. You wouldn't be able to breaker against him because he could just blow all of his better & win the clash & build it ridiculously quickly again

Thats what I was saying awhile ago. It's unavoidable, some characters need less meter than others in fighting games. I'm willing to bet Cyborg and Flash will take the most advantage of this.
