Green Lantern!! I want to beat up Kahn as Green Lantern! And Captain Marvel! And Luthor! And Deathstroke...
 
D-stroke looks badass watchoo talkin' about. Yea he does wear that...oh well. I wanna play as all the usuals, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Shang Tsung. But I REALLY wanna play as the Joker. I adore the Joker.
 
Hmm, time to reflect.

My thoughts on this game ran the gauntlet of emotions: surprise, disappointment, hope, and finally excitement. For a while after the official announcement, I thought they were pulling some marketing shenanigans and were poised to make the real announcement.

I'm not nearly as hardcore about MK as most of you, but I enjoy the franchise, and as the West's only successful and surviving fighter left in the business, I have to represent.

After watching myriad gameplay vids, from the very first SpikeTV feature, through E3 and Leipzig, and finally up through this last "MKAST," my expectations have grown..as have my doubts.

There's a lot riding on this game. But I know it will deliver.
 
I still wish they wouldnt rush this out.

I want to play this as soon as possible, but not if they could test it more and make sure the gamplay is as close to perfect as possible.
 
Well, I said "Available to everyone in the world". So the countdown was set for the European Release date.

What I like about the game:
- New gameplay
- DC Crossover (Once hated)
- Fatalities
- Character looks

Cons
- So far, RAGE mode

I was like everyone when MK vs DC was announced. We all facepalmed. But now, I bet everyone has given this game a chance. It simply looks stunning. We just need renders of Shao Kahn. I'm sure that will please many fans.
 
Actually I like Rage mode, as long as it's as hard to fill as a Super meter say in the SF games. I bet it'll add a lot to the daily gameplay of the game.
 
But it feels like a game breaker. I'm not much of a fan of situations where one person has a high advantage over something. Even for a limited time. We'll see soon enough.
 
Yeah, it seems to last forever. I mean, maybe 2-3 seconds for a special move or rush in and combo, but not 5-6-7 seconds. way WAY too long IMO.
 
I gave EB a email a few days ago and today they confirmed that their Australian stores will not be getting any Kollectors Editions. WHAT NOW? Ordering from overseas will be too expensive due to costs. And even if I did, the game will get here after the game itself has been released here already.
