I was watching a episode of avoiding the puddle (A FGC podcast )and Aris (the host) mades a great point when it comes to MKXs online. "Why get mad? They made their money" They know their going to make bank on MK. They know we will buy the DLC. WB and NRS don't care about the online community no more than Activision cares about the online in Call of Duty. It's sad that I feel this way because MK is my favorite fighting franchise. The online is unplayable to the point that even when I win against a really good player I feel empty…Why? because who's to say it wasn't laggy for them and I just got lucky on my end? I know there is a tease (or troll) from Boon mentioning a possible season two DLC pack but honestly I don't care I have no intention of spending anymore money. My hype is dead with this game and considering the less amount of people playing online shows that I'm not the only one. My expectations for their next game (Injustice 2?) is extremely low as well. Now I'm sure there will be people here saying it's perfect for them online and they've never experienced any of the issues I mentioned but I felt this topic deserved its own thread Who here feels the same as me?
 
I agree. Today I wanted to play some online and input delay was EXCRUCIATING, i was not even trying, just gave my opponents free quitalities, because i could not take it.
 
I thought MKX was the best game I ever played for about a few months. After all the DLC however, I lost interest in the game, considering the online is beyond broken and the game is unbalanced. Besides, there are a bunch of new games coming in the next 3 months or so, including Madden tonight, so I think I'll take a break from MK for a few months, unless there's more DLC, which I doubt.
 
I still enjoy it, mostly for the Krypt. I've never been an online guy so that didn't bother me much. However, as Soon as I finish getting everything from the krypt (and probably collecting all of the banners and stuff), I'll probably use this game for playing against my brother like I do with the previous MK games.

99% of what I play is offline, single-player, so not having PS+ DOES seem like a wonderful thing.
It depends on what perspective you look at things from, Trash.

I got along just fine without PS+ for the whole console life of the PS3, and if PS+ was required to play games online for PS3 I probably would have gotten a year PS+ for MK9 and dropped PS+ due to the shitty online lag, anyways, after that 1 year was up.
Given that MKX online is horrendous and I don't use PS+ for any other online gaming (aside from MKX), yeah, not having PS+ is something that I'm seriously considering for next year.
There's no incentive for me to renew my subscription, aside from discounts, but even then I'd have to pay an annual $50 fee just to play the games that were bought with PS+.
If PS+ is a great service for you [MENTION=12345]Tarkatan Trash[/MENTION], then that's fine, but not everyone cares to use the service in the same manner that you do.
Most of the games that I want on PS4 that are either out or coming out soon don't require online, and everything else that I use online for can be done without PS+ (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, console updates and downloading DLC).

Differen't strokes for different folks.
