hey guys and girls, was wondering whos going?! I just enrolled, very excited. its 30 bucks to register and you have to have a place to stay. got a room at stratosphere for 90 bucks. Very excited and very nervous. I won an MK2 tournament with Mileena in so cal years ago but that was nothing compared to this. hope to here from some of you!!! 10,000 cash first prize!!

Oh I thought it was going to be a few days before release then I read in May.

its the arcade stick yeah. but im not getting one. im sure ill adapt fine to it i grew up in arcades. im very excited!!!

hope to meet some cool people and just have a fun time. dont really care about 1st place. im probably going to use kitana or sindel, maybe even sonya. depending on the feel. god they are so different now. i love mileena but the more i play with her the more i realize her combos are weak compared to the others. if you mess up like once its only like 22% damage vs scorpion who can get 30% easily. we shall see.
hello to the guy from corona! your like 45 min from me.

cant wait till april 19th. excited to see who will become my main cuz right now i don't have a clue.. the fighters really are different.
 
It'd be fun to go, but don't got the money to travel and all that.

I'm hosting the South East Regional Tournament 2011 in my living room. So far the only entrants are my friend and I. But 1st place doesn't have to DD for a year. So lets just say theres a lot at stake.
 
thanks for the support! and good luck to everyone. remember theres 8 cash prizes from 10 grand to 200 dollars, so even 5th 6th etc will win cash. MK9 has been along time coming and im glad to be here to see it. i was like 14 when it first came out(MK1 arcade) and this MK feels so special. Its been a long journey of great MK games. well except for MK vs DC ugh. at 34 now it really is something special that we are here for the reboot of an american classic!!
Im AriesSiren on psn and NetherRealm77 on 360 if youd like to add and play some mk. my gamestop opens at 12am 4/19, ill be on. cant wait to get online.
 
Will they be streaming the tournament or put videos up on the net afterwards? I won't be able to go there sadly.
 
i think so i had to accept a terms of service for them that they would be taping and we might be also filmed. so im guessing yes
