HYEEAAH!!! 20 dumbbell curls and 70 crunches on my bro's weightset! gonna get BUILT! Stallone-gut, here I come.......in several years of intense work.

Because TRMK is so dead now that just about anything makes a topic now-a-days.

someone gets the point!

yep, im getting built for the summer and im also gonna try NOT to look scrawny for the Megadeth concert this may(along with Heaven & Hell and MachineHead!)

Going to the gym consistently takes a lot of motivation, but keep it up. I go 5 days a week right now, and previous had been going 3-4 days a week. Starting next week I'm going to see if I can't get that to 2x 3 days a week and 1x 2 days a week. If I can find time that is.

I've got a gym literally right across the street from my dorm. Free too. But I just never go. For one I have no idea what stuff to do to build what, and second, they say it's not good to work out the same muscle two days in a row. So I don't wanna injure myself especially since i'm so weak anyway.

Who said that? I've never heard that saying before. Many people work out everyday. I really don't workout anyway. I'm fat. But I have like sport almost everyday now.

I've always been and always will be a gym rat. last measured, my bodyfat was around 6%and I still have a bench press over 300. It used to be quite a bit higher, but back in those days I wanted the bulked out Hercu-look. Now that i'm pushing 36, lean and and ripped are far more suitable to my needs (besides, chicks dig it more). ;-)

You're told not to do that because if you're seriously weight lifting, then doing your max two days in a row will destroy more tissue than you build up. That's why one day you work Arms and chest, the next lower back and legs, then switch. Or something along those lines. Thank you, 9th Grade Gym Class! *Gay thumbs up sign to TV screen*

If you think in order to feel accepted and have fun at a concert you need 'to get built' then I'm afraid you are very mistaken.

I work out three days a week, with two days as break periods. I do chest on Monday, rest on Tuesday, arms on Wednesday, another rest, and back and shoulders on Friday with ab crunches done every day of the week, at least fifty. I've really only been serious about this for a year, but it's started to show - I think. I'm not big on 'bulking' up so much as just being built enough for it to show. I want tone, but I'm getting mass, but it's fine because I get the same results. I can bench, roughly, about 140-145 on a good day. I'm still a kid, guys.

Benching is ok for me, except i have no bench to lay on in the basement so it can get hard on my shoulders. I like to run and do push-ups and ab crunches. Easy work-out, and it works to.

Can't believe it's been nearly 10 yeas since I started O_O Sans that one year that I worked 3 jobs.. Either way, keep it up.

Make sure you do cardio exercises too to complement your weight training. Make it a routine since your metabolism will change every 10 years or so.

I used to work out a year ago in a class I had for it at school, but then stopped around summer and my Bench max dropped a lot, I used to be able to do 190-200, I tried last month and I can only do close to 120-130 now
