Hidden Kombatant => Klassic costumes related ?

Another death message was "Can you see the invisible penguin?" A reference to Scorpions animality? Could "You found me" Be the Scorpion Retro? It's kind of far out there, but it's possible :P
 
Ok here's another old trick that's worth a shot in umk3 when fighting as cyber smoke if you hold back block run and both high punch and high kick when a round starts he changes to human smoke

That would be the coolest thing ever if they did a backwards homage to that!
 
By the way in the Xbox live version of umk3 those buttons are LT rt x y (no portal stage but is there anything close)

well i remember seeing there were stages with portals in the background

this has a portal, The Rooftop has 3 versions. One normal before the invasion, one during the actual Outworld invasion, and one after the invasion showcasing the destruction

My guess is Kenshi for this one. My reasoning is based on another MK game we're all familiar with. Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks. When you die in MK:SM you get the "Death Quotes." One of said death quotes is "Where is Kenshi? Why is he blind?"
And I wouldn't put it past Boon to use hints from other games to lead you to answers.

Edit: I know he's not an MK1-3 Character. But neither is Quan Chi. Anything is possible.

MKSMK had a lot of those silly quotes when you die.

I don't think it's him, I think it's either Reptile or Smoke.
 
I hope to god that the pitch black Noob Saibot in his Retro Costume seen in that video is unlockable. Noob Saibot's normal Alt is stupid... The same outfit with tighter cloths and no hood.
 
Has anyone tried to get a double flawless victory on the pit stage without pressing block the entire match and performing a fatality to see if you fight classic reptile. That was the way to do it in MK1 anyways. Just thought I would throw in an idea.
 
you dont unlock anything on fighting the hidden fighters i fighted them all unlocked the trophys of them,beat story,unlocked all krypt and the 4 secret treasures, beat the challenge tower & gain mastery of scorpion
 
yeah nothin to show for winning. im 0/2 for retro noob... wish you earned that nasty costume. and i beat smoke 1/1 for nothing! you get the acheivment before the fight starts... you should get it at least after you win... jeez.
