Help me decide my Klassic Main!

Hey all,

As many of you know, I'm an avid player of MK 2011 (I run the Smoke and CSZ threads myself). I play very, very well with a large variety of characters. My current mains are:

Smoke, Cyrax, Kabal, Liu Kang, and Cyber Sub-Zero.

However, the Klassic pack has released today and the costumes are just AWESOME! I'd love to play as a character utilizing these costumes, however I'm not sure which character would be right for me.

So I want your opinion: Who should my "Klassic" main be? Jade, Kitana, Mileena, Reptile, Scorpion, Ermac, or Sub Zero?

I've seriously considered Mil many, MANY times because I mained her for the entirety of my time playing Deception and Armageddon, however something about her feels so stiff in the latest MK. However I'll definitely give her another try in Training using your thread tonight. Thank you!!

Dude.. Mileena is like one of the most played characters online(at least on xbox)XD And considering I main Sindel that has boosted my record quite a bit. Id say Sub Zero, Honestly it depends on whether you zone or rush. Zone I would go with Sub Zero, rush I would go with reptile maybe..
 
reptile, there is something hilarious about him taking his "mask" off and having a big reptile head there. makes me chuckle every time.
 
Sub-Zero is the best character of the 7 that has classic.
He is a top tier but difficult to learn, i recommend u to choose him, however i'd recomend u to use his main costume that is way better than the classic. IMO the classic costumes look retarded specially Reptile's or you are human or you are reptilian, reptile with human costume = lame.... it was cool in the past because pallet swapping was easier and cheaper but not now. Besides every main costume is way better than the classics, including Reptile wich i think is the best costume he ever had since MK4.

IMO: Classic costumes are overrated.

Dont get angry im expressing what i think.
 
i dont think people get the klassic kostumes because they look strictly cooler, rather i think its a light fun sense of nostalgia, the reason im getting it. that...and i can blow the money and not really care, which helps.

Im getting them cause of the fatalities, if it werent for them, they dont even exist to me.
The only costumes that would make me feel a little (just a little) nostalgia are the UMK3 ninja costumes. (i said UMK3 because all the ninjas were in that game with that costumes)
 
Ermac ! Hands down end of story ! As a fan since mk1,
i have determined that he is thee baddest ninja if not character in all of mk ! I think he is the most vengeful and brutally lacks any feeling of remorse. He is the guy who lost the most. He lost his entire realm to outworld. Something that the earth warriors died to prevent. I think when Edenia was lost he felt the pain of every lost soul on his conscience.

His combos are the sickest and always have been. Just watching him teleport and levitate all over the place is just combo eye candy.

wait, we get fatalities with them too?! lol so didnt know that. oh that makes me happy, i assume they are klassic fatalities? i so want to eat somebodies head with reptile.

The retro pack includes 3 fatalities, Sub-Zero's Spine Rip, Scorpion's Toasty and Reptile's Tasty Meal.
 
Hmm, yes guys I am a very rushdown-oriented person. The only character I zone with even slightly is Cyrax.

So is the general consensus Reptile? No other supporters for the females?
 
I'd say Jade because she has the potential to be S tier if you actually REALLY tried to learn her and abuse EX invincibility.
But if not just go Mileena, Sub, Ermac, or Reptile. They're beastly too and easier to grasp their fighting styles quicker.
 
It's cool to ask the community for an opinion but I think you should choose on your own who to pick based on how god you are with the character and how comfortable you feel playing as them.
