I love how nobody bothers to mention that this totally confirms some kind of alternate universe goings on within the story.

So it is a cross dimensional story with alternate worlds overlapping... which means possible mirror matches in story mode and a way to wipe the slate at the end by setting things back and everyone surviving.

im thinking that this game is in the same universe as the Arkham Games.Or at least an alternate version of it. Kevin Conroy, Tara Strong. All the Cameo's from the Arkham Games. Gotham at 0:40 is EXACTLY like Arkham City.

It's to save time. They said they borrowed the models from their respective games. Boon said it took a lot of effort to get the Arkham stuff together. So I don't think it neccisarily means it's part of the Arkham Universe.

As for the multiple timelines or universes at play, I think that was pretty obvious once the Lex story trailer came out and we saw Joker alive after the Regime happened. The inspiration of the story definitely draws a bunch of similarities to the Injustice Lords from the animated series.

Damn that pretty much guarantees Scarecrow won't be playable. Doomsday hanging in the background is one thing, but Scarecrow stabbing and smashing as stage hazard is another.

The first thing I'm going to do is play as AC Batman and Nightwing against Harley and Bane in Arkham and spend first 20 hours just exploring it. If only the AC Joker skin used some old Hamill lines even if he won't do any new work.
