Dude, you're an idiot. He said the story mode will be experienced from two perspectives. AS IN YOU PLAY IT TWICE. And it takes place from one world in one section, and the other in another. I'm not saying there's two rosters...no shit that's assumed. I'm saying the story is split as part of the storytelling. How about you read what's been said instead of making shit up in your head?

Besides. I'm not saying some of that stuff shouldn't be assumed. Those points were exactly what I said, a synopsis. I took exactly what was said in the article and shortened it for those who didn't want to read. Don't be an asshole. You can complain, but don't be an ass.

Which is what they did with Armageddon, what they did with Deception, Shaolin Monks, Deadly Alliance and MK4. There weren't any Superheroes in those. It's nothing new. People enjoy complaining.
 
The backlash so far for this game has already been way worse than what we saw with the previous games. There's no comparison. Not to mention that MK fans have every right to ***** and moan about this as many of us feel completely betrayed.
 
This is true. But that's because this is an upset. Once we get some screenshots and gameplay vids...when we start to learn how the kombat will work...I think things will pick up.
 
I agree that as we go on more and more people will probably warm up to the idea and hold less animosity towards it. It's still fresh in all our minds right now. Those of you who support it right now are just going to have to accept that the majority of people in the community don't like the idea and will be doing a lot of complaining for a while, so just let 'em.

Thats true and I think most of us assume this is going to happen, its basically down to us fans having two different outlooks on it. Some see this as the end of MK, others like me are seeing this as the savior of MK.
 
I see it as neither. I think it's going to be new. I think it's going to be different. But I don't think it will either kill or save MK. It will just be different. I'll still buy the next one no matter what. MK is just too much a part of me to part with it for any reason.
 
I wasn't even active on the internet when that game came out so I'm wondering the same thing. But it's a different world now.

Question:

Are we really being betrayed?

Or are we unwillingly to try something new?

I know from my MK point of view, its the latter not the former thats preventing me from fully liking this idea.
 
As of now, I still feel betrayed. I'm trying to get used to the idea, but it's still a hard pill to swallow. It doesn't help that we're also been left with relatively little information to follow up such a bombshell.
 
I think alot of the malice would be quashed with a gameplay video or at least some pictures. Alot of us need something soothing and violent to show us that this game will still be kickass. Me? I want news because I'm like a shark. I've tasted blood and now I want a big meal.

Exactly, im starting to think positively about this and getting excited. The only thing that im negative about now is the T rating. The game attracted tons of kids when it was M, probably even more.

They always sold to where it was a "Greatest hits" game. They will get to that with the T or M rating. Why cant they just give us the M and our precious fatalities.
