That was... quite an accurate description of NRS.Capcom has a lot to prove with street fighter 6 after the lukewarm release of SF5 which launched with little to no single player content. It's obvious they're making sure all the right boxes are checked this time around. NRS on the other hand are acting like a drunk rock star pissing away all the good will they once had. I hope that SF6 humbles NRS a bit and forces them to re evaluate things before it's too late.
Yeah. SF6 already made up on SP content with just open world gameplay. Of course it ain't clear of how much replay value will be there, yet, but there is no mistake, that this is the biggest Fighting game to date.
Gods, I fookin hate how corpos messed up my excitement for games. Even with everything I have seen. Everything they have shown and even after they gave us a free goddamn demo, I am STILL thinking "it looks and sounds too good. They will fuck it up somehow."
I hope the Demo will be able to finally kill the skeptical part of me for SF6.
As for MK12... cheezus. If they just drop MK11 Part 2 with prettier visuals, they will be in so much trouble.
SF6 has mini games, custom matches with custom rules, party mode, open world, fun way of learning basics of the game, customization, have older games inside Battle Hub. This content will be like 90% of sales from casuals alone.
And they didn't fuck up competitive players either.
Remember when MK Deception/Armageddon had extensive mini games? When it was fun to play with friends at your place?
I am telling you. Yesterday shocked me completely. Even after I spent the night chewing on it, I am still finding hard to grasp on how shit the situation is for MK12.
The game announcement being made by exec on shareholder call isn't a good start either.
But again we will have to wait and see how much of the good will NRS/MK12 will piss away this time. Cause personally I don't believe they will even come close to what was shown. Even if they had more time to work on the game.
