foundry hidden door?

Right when you enter the foundry there is a door to the left, yet when i go up the ramp and over to it, its nothing but a wall.....anyway to get in the door?
 
also if you pause the game and there is a map of the foudary, there is a warp in the top right corner.....i havent been able to figure out what its for.

nevermind....thats just the pit 2...i dunno why its on that map, and not the living forest map. but still there is a door in the main foundry room map(the map you get when you press the d-pad) but no door there.

Well if its just a wall how could you you open it? Have you tried to throw someone into it?
 
well unless its a bug in the game and there really isnt a door there, or there is a door there but you have to do something to unlock it.
 
have you thought that it might be an overlapping from a higher or lower level of the foundry? The map is in 2D after all.
 
I want to take a look but i cant find what your talking about, could you be a little bit more specific on the location?
 
right when you enter the foundry, through the portal, you go through the cave and right when the cave part ends, before the room with the save in it, if you use the dpad to get in map to come up while your playing it will show you that there is a door to the left of you. There is a path that way if you go up the ramp on the left and go back toward where you came, looks like a rail road, but it just leads to a dead end.
 
I've been wondering about that, too ever since I first got to the foundry. I tried throwing enemies through the rock wall down below, and the wooden one up top, but no dice. I bet it was going to be something, but got taken out at the last minute because of a deadline or something.
 
I compared my map to yours and my map does not have a lock symbol there. It only has the other three.

1. Portal
2. Crystal gates
3. Foundry entrance

I am using an XBOX and have beaten it in Ko-op with Liu Kang and Kung Lao and have beaten it in single player with both of them also. I currently have 100% with all three.

Maybe it is a platform thing? Are you using a PS2?
 
I have the xbox version and i dont see that door icon, maybe you should just forget it, its a small glitch in the game. Also, it might have been openable at one time and took it out the last minute and forgot to erase the icon on the ps2 version.
