Final bets on KP2

"He calls to you from the other side" implies that he's dead. Especially if it's Bi Han that's calling him, because Noob Saibot has proven he doesn't care for Kuai Liang. Probably wouldn't care for Sareena either.

Sounded more like Kung Lao trying to taunt him.
Remember, before he became human again, Kuai-Liang was also a dead NetherRealm revenant.
I'm pretty sure that Kuai would have seen his brother there in the NetherRealm if Noob Saibot actually was dead.
That doesn't seem to be the case, though.
Instead, Kuai's reply is "His whereabouts are unknown."

Which could also mean that "his whereabouts are unknown" only to Sub-Zero.

Or that "his whereabouts are unknown," in general.
We don't know which 1 it means, so we can't assume 1 or another.
Thus, Noob Saibot could still be either dead or alive, much like Schrodinger's cat, and NRS really hasn't answered the question as to what happened to him.
"His whereabouts are unknown," is a pretty vague statement.

The more that I look at some of those interactions, the more I feel they're just for shits and giggles. That's how I'm going to look at them now. They want to be vague, I'll treat it like it's vague and not put any thought into it.

My brain doesn't like vagueness.

Not that I would want this at all, but I could see KP2 being Baraka, Sindel, Rain and Alien. 3 NPCs who should have been playable from the onset and another guest that most MK fans do not want to see.

LOL. The accuracy in this part of the post is too good. Kudos.

Not accurate at all when you consider how many MK fans flood Ed's twitter with guest requests and how many MK fans buy these characters over actual MK natives

I take Predator over most of the crappy 3D Post-MK4 fighters.

Same here.
Aside from 6 post-MK3 characters that I want, I'd take a guest over most of the post-MK3 debuts.
Quan Chi, Kenshi, Fujin, Havik, Reiko and Sareena are my exceptions to the otherwise terrible post-MK3 roster (my personal opinion).
Now, I frankly only cared for those 6 post-MK3 characters, and Bo Rai Cho could be #7 on my list if he's in and given a good revamp.

Mokap, Kobra, Hsu Hao and Meat for KP2

who signs petition?

Not me.
Those 3 can die forever in a fiery pit, for all I care.
I'd skip out on KP2, if that was the case.

Mokap, Kobra, Hsu Hao and Meat for KP2

who signs petition?

Bring it. And the only reason I'd sign that is because I know NRS would revamp them to make them relevant again. People hate what these characters were and can't imagine because of that what these characters could be. They have a mental block. Yes, they'll never be superstars like Raiden or Sub-Zero, but that doesn't mean they have to suck till the end of times. One day they could and imo should be back in a totally revamped fashion. NRS proved they can do this and I'm confident they'd be able to turn even the biggest crap like these four characters are into gold. And I'm even confident some people would afterwards start liking them. Not saying I want these 4 in KP2 (well, maybe except Meat who would somewhat fit), but if they decided to put them in they would be reborn - much like Tremor or anyone else. Let's forget about the past, within reason, and focus on the future. And the future of MK looks very bright.

While I 100% agree that any character can get a good revamp (I've said it multiple times on these threads), at the same time I'm hypocritical when it comes to certain characters.
You can't sit here and tell me that there's NO character that you've ever disliked from MK1 thru Armageddon.
I'd call total BS on that.
I seriously doubt that you've liked every single character ever since MK1.
I don't expect every single character to ever reach Sub-Zero, Scorpion or Raiden status, but for me, the line is drawn with Mokap (nothing but Carlos Pesina in a motion capture suit), Meat (nothing but a skinless model for rendered character models) and Kobra (the SF Ken wannabe).
As much as I dislike Hsu Hao, at least the dude had both a viable story and was an original character concept.

Kobra could be a great character if they just grabbed their balls and went through with him being a Ken clone. Shoryuken, Hadouken and Hurricane Kick included. With different names of course.

Perhaps if the Shoryuken, Hadouken and Hurricane Kick were given to a Ken clone in MK, NRS would have a lawsuit on them.
That's probably why they haven't gone through with something like that.

Ever hear of Ryo Sakazaki? He was SNK's clone of Ryu and Ken. Capcom's only retaliation was the creation of Dan. A character who mocks Ryo and other SNK fighters.

Plus, how could they possibly sue? They don't own animations. Sindel had a Shoryuken in MK9 and Sub-Zero throws his ice-ball like a Shoto throws a Hadouken.
