It seems more like he may steal their fatality, like Quan Chi. Although, the Motaro thing makes more sense since he turned into Kintaro in another game.

Also, Quan Chi's new fatality was described in detail in that paper talking about why MK was banned in Australia. I personally think it's stupid =\

but thats not a bad idea... in MK2 he transformed into kintaro... maybe they give a motaro transformation... its improbably in my opinion (because the message is in the game which is the same like in MK2/3) but who knows... it would be great!

Maybe they actually mean the finishers and they talk about focus because brutalities usually got a bunch of inputs so you've gotta focus before starting the input...

I think the Fatality Trainer only lets you learn how to do the first default fatality and all other finishers have to be executed by yourself only.

Yes, Except if you looked on the Demo, & At PAX, if you Do the fatalities Manually, They will appear in the Moves list for you to do for good.
