fantastic 4

It was a pretty good movie. At least the movie was a good rendering of the comics.*gives finger to creators of Spiderman 2*

Hey, C'mon now! Spidey 2 may not have been 100% accurate, but it was still a good flick. :)

Onto Fantastic Four. I watched it today, and loved it.

PS that was Stan Lee as the mailman, wasn't it? He always has small cameos in his comic movies, like the Spiderman ones.
 
dam. this movie wont get to my theatre for about a month :x
but i heard it was really good and i am planning on seeing it!!
 
I will copy and paste what I wrote on another board:

I saw it yesterday and it felt a little too short for it to fully get my attention. It felt like it was just about to get really - really good when "Bam!" they beat Dr. Doom. He went down a little too easily for my tastes, I mean he's Dr. Doom for Chrissakes! He shouldn't go down that easily. I was glad, however, when he was returned to Latveria and will hopefully regain his rightful throne as its dictator.

The exchanges between Johnny and Ben were the best part of this flick, they were hilarious. The effects at times were really cheesy, imo, but I can't complain. It was a pretty fun popcorn flick and I thouroughly enjoyed it. Mostly because The Human Torch was hilarious...

My only complaint is that they actually found a cure to the Thing's "condition", I always thought it humanized him more when he felt "trapped". You could relate to him because he hated being feared and looking the way he did. It was until he met Ms. Masters that he began to become more comfortable looking the way he did and that made him seem a lot more "real." Heck, at times he even felt scared that if Mr. Fantastic ever did make a cure Alicia wouldn't love him anymore. Now that they have a cure...I don't know, it just kind of detracts from his character.

i agree completly!
but on the other hand read has cured the thing many times but each time it only lasted for what? an ish? two?

Yeah, but almost always he's hated himself for having to go back and becoming the monster. One time he almost killed Dr. Doom for making him go back, in this flick, he was a little too happy when he turned back.
