I never use Power Armor because I just wanna save all my fusion cores
It's like the RPG syndrome, I think to myself "Oh I'll use this for a hard part or something" and then I never use it. Love the Power Armor in this game though, they really did a good job on it.

Im the exact same way. I've even had the best power armor in the game for about 3 days and still haven't used it.

I use my Power Armor pretty frequently and I never run out of Fusion Cores. And that's with the Jetpack addon that eats your cores like birthday cake. I still have about 40 since I'm always killing Brotherhood knights. It's annoying having to get out to sleep or craft, but that extra carry weight is too enticing. Unfortunately I've hit that infamous part of Fallout were near godhood prevents you from using any strategy. No more peeking behind cover and getting potshots. I just run after everyone with a shotgun and a near invincible suit of armor.

Yes I'm lol 62 now and play on Very Hard and it still feels like God mode. Only Super Mutant Primus' and Warlords give me trouble now.

What does Hard mode do? I know that it makes you easier to kill, but does it make you do less damage also?

It has more of the difficult higher tier enemies and legendary enemies. (Corporal Gunners, Raider Survivalists, Super mutant Warlords/Primus', Putrid ghouls etc).
You do the same damage but because of the harder enemies, you do less if you know what I mean.

Got tired of finding Settlers sleeping in my bed, so I built my palace in the sky.
Pimps only, if you don't have a jetpack, you sleep with the roaches :bandit:

Spoiler:
Well the Brotherhood of Steel made me exterminate the Railroad so...there they go.

Also encountered a game-breaking bug so I can't finish the story until they release a patch, since even when I load a previous save, the bug happens every time. This is legit garbage. I could handle the numerous hard crashes I experienced along with other bugs that forced me to load saves, but this is unacceptable.

My full suit of fully upgraded X01 power armor vanished from its rack in Sanctuary and it decided to have everyone highlighted in red before it left. Sigh.

Nevermind. I remembered that Sanctuary was attacked recently so I rung a bell and this mothereffin settler comes strutting around the corner in my suit.

That's what you get for siding with those genocidal maniacs

The fact that they wanted to kill off more than half of your companions should have tipped you off that they weren't the ones to back in this game

So I beat the game last night, sided with the Railroad

Spoiler:
I haven't been this disappointed with a story since Lords of Shadow 2. It isn't just bad, it's plain stupid. So many oversights. The kind of player I am, I try to help everybody that I can. But with the way this story ties every faction together, that means you have to get to know and then betray people that you meet and help in your travels. It's ridiculous. I know they're trying to do some Telltale hard choices shit, but all it does it make sure that there's no way for me to walk away satisfied.

The Railroad's biggest problem? They want Synths to be free. So when I become the god damned leader of the Institue, why is it not an option that I peacefully free them myself? In New Vegas, you could Speech Check yourself out of a final boss fight, in 3 you could talk the president of the goddamned country to destroy his entire base. Why can't I use it to stop the massacre of hundreds of innocent people? Plus Desdemonda, Jesus Christ dude. She sees all of the insanely advanced technology and advancements the Institute has created, and her plan is to blow it all up? Again, no Speech Check can change this. And of course, one final shit pebble for your turd sandwhich, right before you go to blow it up you have to walk past your dying son who condemns you for what you've done. But if you would have helped him, you'd condemn both of your alliances. Again, no way for peace. It's insanely narrow.

And that ending, lmao. I wonder how long the intern took to draft that vague nonsense up.

At least Hulkbuster Sektor is here to comfort me

I really wish Charisma played a bigger part in this game

Spoiler:
I wish I could convince The Brotherhood of Steel that synths were not abominations as they say because I don't like having to destroy The Railroad. I can't side with The Railroad because they only care about synths so they're not beneficial to humanity. The Brotherhood is full of feelings of human superiority but at least they do care for humanity, hence why they don't have a problem with the Minutemen. I do feel that synths deserve a chance at life, reminds me of the game Kara that is coming out but I don't prefer them over humans. Then of course there are Ghouls who I am cool with, especially Han.

Yet apparently you become an enemy of The Brotherhood if you side with the Minutemen? I don't get it. Feels like there is no choice I'm completely comfortable with which kinda blows, since you can't change the views of any of the factions. You're supposed to be this huge influence on the Commonwealth, no?

Charisma is arguably the weakest primary stat in most Fallout games. It was the most useful in FO2 though, since every 2 points means an additional follower.

Finished the game, today. Sided with C.I.T, didn't like the ending at all. Then again, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular.

Starting my 2nd Playthrough soon joining another faction, hopefully the other endings are more satisfying.

They're all the same for the most part. Unbelievably weak. It doesn't even tell you what becomes of your followers. Pearlman, I need to know what happens to Dogmeat

I can literally only remember 1 time Charisma made a big difference in this game, it sucks. It's mostly just for getting more caps out of people and getting information that isn't even game-changing.

But then again the dialogue sucks overall anyway so...
