Does MK9 FINAL build support custom music on PS3?

Can ANYONE confirm if the Full version of the game supports "custom soundtracks"??? I know the demo does... but reports are coming in that the FINAL build (on the PS3 version at least) DOES NOT support custom soundtracks!...?...?..!...?...?

Help anyone?...

There are like 5 people who I have talked to, and they said that the PS3 Final version of the game DOES NOT SUPPORT IT! It was only on the demo version of the game. DO YOU HAVE the full version of the game on PS3?
 
Hey guys. First post. I do have the full version of the game and I haven't been able to play the music off the XMB in both challenge tower and during fights.

I was afraid of this =/ It's a bit disappointing although the music in the game is pretty good. Hope they patch this, it's way more fun to play your own music at parties.
Benny Hill chase music while playing armless Kombat anyone? :D
 
This is ridiculous! Why would they allow custom music in the DEMO on the PS3... But not have it in the FINAL BUILD of the game?.. Im frickin pissed off! All that hard work for nothing...

Yes. I own only the PS3 copy. Don't have a 360.
I tried the music playback both pre-patch and post-patch and IIRC it didn't work in either case.
I think this is a last minute omission from NRS, and probably will be patched in a week or two.

Till then, "The End Begins (To Rock)" and "Techno Syndrome" will have to wait. Sigh

Oh, you're the person who make the kustom soundtrack. I love all the songs that you selected. can't wait to play them during gameplay eventually....hopefully.

How are you so sure that it will get patched?... Was there a press release about it or something? ALSO did NRS ever even officially announce that the game will support the custom soundtrack feature?...
 
I don't think NRS ever did. I guess what happened is people tried playing custom music in the demo, found that it worked, and this led to a bunch of articles about PS3 version having custom soundtrack support. I don't remember Boon confirming or denying it or anyone asking him this question (since we all assumed it would work).

Hmmm... that does seam to be the case! If only I knew it was all "assumption"... then I would have NEVER spent 60+ plus working on a custom soundtrack for the game...

I mean look at all the work I did... click the link in my "signature"... Then you will understand my frustrations...

I sure hope they release a patch for this!!!!!!!! Im PISSED!!!!!! mine wont work either!!!!!!!!! and my game skips during saves!!!!!!!!!

yeah it should work on xbox. i even remember watching a live srteam last week of a guy on the last challenge tower mission, who then started playing music from the xbox music player.
 
Perhaps I should have bought an XBOX 360 instead of a PS3 version of the game... I really dont care for "Kratos" at all! I would have much rather had the custom soundtrack feature 100% available to me!

i hope it gets fixed because i have a few tracks that i was hoping to put on there specialy this one from black ops i think it goes perfect with MK or any fighting game it just pumps you up for battle, i like a few tracks from the mk9 st but it doesnt fit as well as this track imo.
