DLC Skins Ideas

Here are some more ideas for skins

1. DC Universe Online Skins- For every chracter (since they have appeared in DCUO)

2. Death Of Superman Skin- This would be one skin for Superman. The skin would have a bloody,bruised and beaten just like in the "Death Of Superman" comic after he died.
 
Just for old times sake I'd love generic Batman pack that adds the costumes found in Arkham City pack, as well as Batman Forever. I remember spending dozens of hours on that damn hard wannabe-MK SNES game.
 
I would love to see some goofy alts for the characters, actually, for the sake of comic relief since the game looks like it could use some humor
 
Michael Keaton Batman skin
Christopher Reeve Superman skin
Jack Nicholson Joker skin
Michelle Pfeiffer Catwoman latex skin

IF NRS did those skins, they would be day 1 DLC purchase, and I could car less what other skins they did.

^^This.. I think that's a great idea.. as much as I'm not a huge fan of aquaman, I wouldn't mind seeing an alt outfit where he has the long hair, goatee, and hook for a hand. And also would like it if they put the death/rebirth of superman outfits in there too..

..On a side note, I do think that they should put as an alternate outfit for certain chartacter's there counterpart character's..What I mean for example is this.. why not have one of Batman's alt outfits be Batgirl.. Superwomen for a Superman alt costume, so forth and so on (Aqua lad, kid flash etc., etc.,)... Lets be honest, in a game like this they would virtually be the same character and it would be a way to squeeze in more characters that people wanted without having to waste a roster spot. Thoughts??

Sorry man, but in the words of Charles Barkley, this would be a "TRRBLE idea."


If they're going to make more characters, then they might as well give them new character moves and put them on the roster or just make them DLC.
Unless it's another alternate for that SAME character, I wouldn't want to see counterpart characters with the same moves.
 
All I want is Bizzaro. Even if it is just a costume for Superman that changes his skin, intro, outro, and stance, I would be happy.
 
I would totally love to see A LOT of different skins become available; batman-BTAS, Batman returns, old adam west suit, and definitely batman beyond. Superman could get an alt with his underwear still on. Wonder Woman i'd love to see that one design of hers where shes in like a leather jacket and black pants. Harley Quinn's old jester costume without question, and hopefully her new 52 and AA and AC looks. Catwoman should get her new 52 design, along with her costumes worn by michelle pfeiffer, anne hathaway, and halle berry just for fun, and i tihnk she should get her golden age costume with the purple dress and green cape, and her 90's purple catsuit. I'd love to see NIghtwing get his old Robin costume back. And since Killer Frost is all but confirmed, i'd love to see her JLU look.
 
It's pretty funny how people are wanting the same outfits people wanted in Arkham City. If they couldn't get TDKR, Adam West or Tim Burton movie skins I doubt it happens here.

If NRS has access to all the DC names they bragged about, I wish they add other characters as alts for other people.

- Mr Freeze->Lex Luthor

- Bizarro->Superman
- Two-Face->Joker
- Mirror Master->Flash
- Martian Manhunter->Superman (Probably DLC character but in case anyway)
- Gorilla Grodd->Solomon Grundy
- Krona->Black Adam

or something along those lines. That's actually something I'd pay for. Whether Batman wears his current or Animated suit doesn't really matter to me, but if I could pretend I'm playing as Two-Face even with Joker moveset I would be sold. I only wish they got a different voice actor so Two Face vs Joker wouldn't have the same audio bank spam stuff.

For all that trouble, why not just have Two-Face as DLC.

This reminds me of Jarek in MK4.
They gave him the exact moves and fatalities as Kano, in MK4, when all along they could have just put in Kano.
 
Making a complete character is a lot more hassle and resource draining than a skin and partial sound file, not to mention doing it 20 or 30 or 9042 times. Also if the movelist is going to be pretty much identical why bother. Yea Two-Face wouldn't use a rocket launcher 10 inches away from a guy nor does he has banners in his guns but I could overlook little stuff like that. As long as he has a gun to shoot and fist to pound, he doesn't require a Coin Throw move IMO.

I would take Two-Face as DLC, but then I'd be asking for Croc, Freeze, Brainiac, Grodd, Metallo... and there's no way that will happen. With skins it's remotely possible.

Actually I dont think creating unique voices is absolutely necessary either. Just swapping Joker's audio with someone more serious like Batman or Aquaman would be decent.

It's the easiest way to basically double the roster.

Why not?

I could have sworn that Ed Boon said that NRS were going to try to implement the Battle Arena for DLC characters too, and they said that they would have more DLC than MK9, so I don't see it as being impossible either.

I think NRS will let the fans decide DLC this time around, and if that's the case, I could EASILY see Two-Face or Killer Croc coming in as DLC, since they seem to be the highest requested characters among the fans, on Twitter.
