DLC - NRS getting lazy with quality/details?

personally, I don't mind the glitches much.. if NRS got some emails about them then they'll probably make a patch for those so it's alright. the nekropolis slot well.. 50-50. what I am pissed about is the alt costumes and the silent intros. for Skarlet and Kenshi one can think that it makes sense for them not to talk when they enter the fight.. but if Rain has no line either, then we're definitely talking about NRS being cheap and not getting a voice actor. Rain will sort this one out once his video is released, for now I'm not sure if it was them being cheap or due to the characters being Skarlet and Kenshi (personality-wise). as for the costume, of course once you play you try to enjoy the game and win or whatever and you don't just stand there looking at the costume.. but it was said that DLC characters would get 'their fair share of love' and no alt costume, no spot in nekropolis, no speech (let's hope not for everyone) and so on is not helping us think that. on the bright side, they could have a fall programme in which we'd get say another four characters and two of them having two free alts for the previously released 4-chars pack.. but the truth is, all characters deserve at least ONE alt as a default and THEN getting another one via DLC. so far, NRS makes it seem like CSZ and DLC characters got the shaft for this

No offense intended because I agree with you but do you really think still buying the DLC is going to make them want to put in the effort to fix the complaints? Hell No! They already have our money so they don't care. If Kenshi and Rain do poorly because of these complaints they might be bothered to go the extra mile for the fourth character. Otherwise it will just be the usual Boon and co. rush job.

well, I just complain "a little bit" about the lack of details, in the sense as a MK fan, but, I'm not boycotting DLC, I'm not doing digital riot about it .... it's just a way to release the stress and a minor anger about some incompetent actions that NRS did, but, in the end, what matter the most is the fact the characters are playable and have, at least, all their special moves, combos, fatalities and a Ladder Ending .....

Anyway, there is not one simple excuse that justify why Skarlet, and, probably Kenshi, cannot have an alternate costume, gameplay stats and spot in Nekropolis ..... nothing coming from NRS or Ed Boon could explain that. This is a fact.
 
just came across something in mk wikia. apparently, Henry Dittman is Rain's voice actor. we'll see if they actually paid him for a line :P
 
Yer i have noticed these glitches aswell, and i agree it is kinda lazy. They should fix them as the DLC is expensive in comparison to the game as a whole.

In addition to you point about nobody being chained up in Kahns arena when u fight as Skarlet and Kitana. Although i dont mind no charcter is there , what i do mind is the Kitanas chains are still there like shes tied up. It looks terrible, would it really take that make to remove them?

And when u do scorpions 1st fatality in his classic costume, he pulls his new sword of his back instead of his classic one. When i 1st saw it i thought WTF, so again would it really be to hard to fix?

Come on NRS , up your game and FIX these things WE ARE PAYING YOU FOR.

Agreed. That's why I don't like them throwing out the characters so fast. We just got Skarlet, Kenshi's coming out on Tues [Hopefully Eu PS will get her on Wed without having to fight for it] and Rain at the end of July and the 4th character probably in early Aug. I would rather they take their time with them and make sure they have their alts, Nekropolis spots [ I was actually hoping Skarlet would replace the second Cyber Sub] etc.
