That said, I'm not sure 100% if BOTH will be announced, but yeah, it does seem like at least 1 of those 2 (Fallout 4 or Dishonored 2) will be revealed at Bethesda's conference.

(Let it be noted that the 2012 Dishonored did have 2 mobile apps for the first game. 1 which was a twisted version of fruit ninja, but with rats, and a 2nd app which was to help locate runes and bone charms.)

That said, I still retain hope for SOME sort of Dishonored announcement, even if it's a just a small teaser, but it DOES seem like Arkane Studios may indeed be working on the sequel and just don't have it ready enough to show off just yet.

If these rumors ARE indeed true, though, then at least we know that they ARE working on the game, even if it only means a small teaser and no gameplay footage or no official trailer at E3.
"Small teaser" could just as well mean (imo) that maybe we get a quick flash of the words "Dishonored II," among the games that Bethesda Softworks and Bethesda Game Studio have planned for future release.

Its on a Brazilian website. Another Brazilian website "leaked" a mass effect collection on new gen consoles(which has yet to be confirmed or denied). If we get a Dishonored upgrade for PS4 (and I know the graphics could use some work.) I would be immensely satisfied until Dishonored 2.

I just hope that something like this wouldn't further delay a Dishonored sequel.
I guess my question is "Would a re-release / remaster be handled by an outside company and not Arkane?"
If so, a Dishonored sequel looks more likely, imo.

They really wouldn't have much to do. Upgrading the textures, frame rate, and resolution doesn't seem like a ton of work. Heck, they're remastering Risen 3. If a terrible company can do it, I'm sure Arkane can make it happen without using too much time and resources. Its not like they are remastering an extremely large game.

I'm hoping that's the case, as well as adding the Daud DLC (The Knife Of Dunwall & The Brigmore Witches) on PS4 and X1.
Given recent industry trends with games like Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, it wouldn't be too odd to see a Dishonored remaster of the original and then a sequel come out later for current-gen consoles.
I believe the Master Chief Collection came out in 2014 with Halo 5 scheduled to come out on October 2015, no?
If this Dishonored remaster is true, then a sequel for current-gen consoles seems more likely, imo.
Since the sequel is taking a while to make and a playable version may not be at E3 (according to rumors, only a teaser for Dishonored 2), a remake for the first game to tide the people over while they wait seems logical, IMO.
It would give me a reason to finally get rid of my PS3 and either use that cash for a nice 5-string bass that I've had my eyes on or put it towards some microphones for my recording studio.

My PS3 will go on sale when this is officially confirmed.
My wet dream is that the Dishonored: Difinitive Edition is both Dishonored 1 & II combined as part of a next-gen collection pre-order.
I don't think that's the case, but one can dream.
Whether it's the Definitive Edition, Dishonored II or BOTH announced tomorrow, I'm psyched.
I will jizz in my pants.

I was going absolutely insane after reading one article claiming that there was going to be no announcement.
But after reading this, I'm FLUCKING happy once again
I believe I read a similar article saying the same thing. It made me a sad panda.

I read 1 of those articles too, and for a while I was like "Eh, even a short mention would be nice tomorrow."
After hearing Ralph Colantonio and Harvey Smith's voices, I was like "F*** yeah. If these 2 guys are there talking about a game and Prey 2 was cancelled, then it has to be Dishonored-related."

Dishonoured is handled by Arkane Studios. Bethesda just publishes it.
(Not to be "that guy," but looking back at other posts would have pointed that out.)
