Concept artwork for classic Justice Leaguer Black Canary got everyone wondering ahead of the Evo character reveal. As we note in our Arrow DLC Giveaway; the CW live-action Green Arrow series will introduce Black Canary in its second season.

The concept art [by artist Bernard Beneteau] shows a variety of adaptations of Black Canary's classic bodysuit and stockings. It must be said, the Canary does make a small cameo in the finished game, but could this be the sign of existing plans for something more? A self-fulfilling prophecy, now that it's out?

She's hardly the only character fans have been speculating about! Rumors of a Dr. Fate playable build resurfaced when Creative Director Ed Boon tweeted a photo with the hero seen on his PC desktop. Fans initiated through cartoons and teen stories have been enticed by Twitter polls featuring Red Hood -- Batman's once dead sidekick, Jason Todd. Zatanna & Powergirl have also been popular, gender conscious rumors. Could all of this be building to another Season Pass? According to Boon -- no.

I hope Dr. Fate is true. Canary should also be a very good addition.. no news for Booster Gold though :( anyone's got info if Booster Gold even has a chance to make it as DLC?

my money is on canary simply because shes in arrow season 2 and her concept art was leaked . i also think it could be bronze tiger as well since hes being played by michael jai white in arrow season 2 as well

If Black Canary is in the game, I hope her outfit is the one from the prequel comic, although I hope NRS can actually make her face very pretty.

ALso for the Arrow season 2, I can't wait for that. Plus, I wonder how she'll get her Canary Cry ability. I know in the comics that she was born with meta gene, but how will the producers do it for the show itself?

now that i think of it her canary scream could work like sidels scream. also if you look at the mm trailer he has sektors teleport move

I'm not talking about her abilities for the game Tazz. I'm saying that for the Arrow TV series.

As for the Injustice game, if Canary makes the cut, I bet she'll have two variants of her scream. One for knockback (MB version will cause wall bounce for juggling combos), and the other for stunning. And the rest of her specials will be melee, with one parry/counter move. Not sure about her trait to be honest.

eh i think its a safe bet its black canary. her concept leaked and besides we need more females anyways so if it is her i will be happy
