hi all, I'm just here 2 give a review on a cd that just came out today (& bought) Demon hunter- The Triptych , this cd is better than summer of darkness, my favorite tracks are "undying" "deteriorate" & "snap your fingers, snap your neck" this cd is melodic like summer darkness but yet heavier than summer of darkness.

all in all I give this cd a 9 out of 10 !

Heh. I already had 4 songs from the album plus a rare song my friend sent me. The songs seem good and better than summer of darkness. i'll have to buy the album to find out though.

Demon hunter is a Christian Hard Rock band...screaming in most or all songs. The lyrics have meaning and all in all they are a good band.

I think "nu-metal" sums it up better.

Listen to Living Sacrifice. They're Christian and metal. Real metal. And Christian or not, they're actually a good band.

They don't exactly rap like Linkin Park or something. On most music sites I have seen they are listed as Christian Rock Band, not nu metal.

They don't need to rap to be nu-metal. Rap influence is often evident in that style, but it's not a prerequisite for something being labeled "nu-metal".

To me, the have simple, one-finger power chord riffs that bring to mind the likes of Korn, the Deftones, and Slipknot's self-titled CD. I've seen them called "nu-metal" before and I tend to agree with it. They're heavier than "rock", so that's why I wouldn't just call 'em that.

Whatever you wanna call 'em, though, doesn't bother me.
