Well, not that I would miss out on a MK game, but Block Button, Crazy new game mechanics like interactive stages, character conversations, running, cinematic X-Rays, Brutal Fatalities, I'm pretty much sold. I just need to hear Story details and mode details, as well as how many more new/returning characters there's gonna be. So far, unimpressed with two out of the three new characters however. Time will tell though, can't wait to see what's in store for the next three days.

That was ******* amazing! Far beyond my expectations - bravo MK team!
I actually like the direction they are going, I never played Injustice, but I certainly don't mind the similarities.
The new characters look terrific, aspecially the Aztec dude (looks like Ogre from Tekken though) and the bee lads. The giant and the midget is a pretty neat idea.
Stages look great, but the best part of the trailer were undoubtedly the fatalities! Holy shit, MK never looked better!

Btw did you guys notice the third stage during Ladybug's fatality? It had figurines in it like MKDA's Lost Tomb stage, but does not look like it.
 
Loving the new fighters. All of them for different reasons; loving the diversity in design. I especially like the minion chick - she's feisty and bad ass. I like how acrobatic she looked performing her fatality. Keep it up, girl!

Also, Bug-Chick's fatality is looking amazing!

I agree. I've always thought Drahmin's backstory was so bad ass! And with a completely redesigned moveset he could be so sick in this game. Definitely looks like we won't be getting him though since we got the insect woman.

Yea, this got me thinking as well, I wonder what's with it. As for the new characters they are alright but Im not excited as I hoped to be. The midget-brute duo concept resembles the alchemist of DOTA2 alot, the bee lady too doesn't seem very original either. Maybe Im judging too soon, lets see what more they have to offer.

Could be referring to his brother as well. Anyway, I'm loving what I see. This new dark approach is exactly what I always wanted; costume designs, backgrounds, new game play elements and those X-rays and Fatalities!!! Holy hell they are detailed. The new characters are interesting and I can't wait to see how this story unfolds. My ONLY gripe is that you can tell it is held back by old gen hardware. This game probably could have looked pretty close to the trailer had it been next gen only but whatever, I'm excited.
 
Hmm, you guys arguing about Drahmin makes me wonder if the midget/brute combo is a re-imagining of Drahmin/Moloch....

I heard that too! I wonder what it could mean?

Drahmin would have fit perfectly into this environment. I hope Ed was just teasing. "Kinda unlikely" is hardly a "No."
 
Drahmin's badassery is on par with most of the bad asses in the game. The fact that he's also gross is the second coolest thing about him. I really hope Boom was yanking our chain about him not returning.

Anyways, I listened closely several times when Scorpion and Sub-Zero's dialogue and it does sound like he says "our innocence". Its a little unclear but I swear it sounds like 'ours'. I need to change my pants.
