Countdown To Release!!!

1. It was Sonya on Mortal Kombat Trilogy for the Nintendo 64. I was only 10 at the time and never really learned how to play the series until my teen years, though.
2. I performed my first Fatality on Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance.
3. Mortal Kombat Armageddon is my favorite game in the series.
4. I would have to go with Mortal Kombat Deception's Chess Kombat.
5. I can't really decide at the moment.
6. My favorite Stage Fatality would be the Dead Pool Fatality.
7. A pencil... I guess I could get an eye jab in before he kills me.
8. Johnny Cage jams a movie award in his victim's eye and uppercuts their head off. He then rips their torso off, but not before punching the victim's groin.
9. What made you realize you wanted to be a video game developer?
10. Depends on if you're talking about in the games or in real life. If it's the games you're talking about, then yes, he's real. If you're talking about real life, then unfortunately, he isn't real.
11. I would prefer it if they could bury the hatchet in Quan Chi's skull. He started the rivalry, after all.
12. What got me into Mortal Kombat? After watching my brother and mom play Trilogy, it seemed like it would be fun. Now I'm the Mortal Kombat maniac in my family.
13. The Fatalities are looking to be even more awesome. :bunny:
14. Sonya. I liked her before she was needlessly... uh, "stripped down"? I also found other favorite characters.
15. I just wanted to occasionally mingle with fellow fans.

15. Mostly to get new information on upcoming MK games. I was part of another fansite roughly a decade ago but left the site after a couple of years on bad terms due to some personal issues I had with certain people there (I wish not to discuss any details about that, not even the name of the site or my username there). Then about 5 years later, I came here to protest the release of an MK product, fully anticipating to get banned, but after that particular dust settled, I slowly blended in with the TRMK crowd.

15. For more info lol and i joined here because in comparison it's borderline retarded everywhere else.... that's no exaggeration.

What made you decide to join a fan forum for the series?

- When I first joined a forum, it was actually a coincedence, as I back then didn't know there were forums to talk about games. I found one when searching for info about Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and then eventually joined it.

I lurk around the Gamefaqs forums of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance back in 2002. I remember posting the MKD forums back in 2004 on IGN and Gamefaqs. I remember MKD was one the most hype up fighting game in 2004 at the time. 2004 was such a great year of video games in my opinion. MKD, Budokai 3, Halo 2, Ratchet & Clank 3, GTA: SA, Half Life 2, Metal Gear Solid 3, Unreal Tournament 2004, Tony Hawk Underground 2 and so many more.

What made you interested in Mortal Kombat?

I like fighting games in general. Naturally, I tried MK.

What has been the best thing you've seen so far with Mortal Kombat X?

It would have to be the diversity in character fighting styles.

What character did you like, but started to dislike?

Raiden was my favorite character when I started playing MK1. I can't say I dislike him now, but I just developed more interest in other characters as the series progressed.

What made you decide to join a fan forum for the series?

MK9 was first time I had real interest in a MK game after seeing the series go downhill for some time. I had time on my hands at the time, and I was checking for updates online every single day. TRMK had some stuff I couldn't find anywhere else, so I joined. I liked the community to a certain extent, though there are other places where MK fans lurk that make me cringe...

15 - For years I loved MK story. I always wanted a place to discuss with people. I have been into some, most inactive, and others with no good system for discussion or even opinion.

Then I registered on TRMK.

16 - Shaolin Monks was a very good game. Unfortunately, nothing was canon (except geography) and this is sad in my opinion, I like to participate on what can have some progress. Besides, non canon thing messes up the main and canon plot in a very annoying way.

MKM:SZ was good too, and it was canon! I found very interesting to reveal this complex story that surrounds Sub-Zero and Scorpion and at the same time set the events of MK4.

For a new game, it's kinda hard to think. But maybe we could have something from very before times of MK1 events. Maybe Great Kung Lao's life, or maybe a game with new characters fighting well known people in the realms, also in a time before MK1.

Maybe something closer and more clear about the One Being, or something in Outworld in Onaga times, or the battle between the gods...

16. Probably the events leading up to the Great Kung Lao's victory over Shang Tsung. We don't know very much about Shang Tsung's reign as Mortal Kombat Champion; who he beat to become Champion, how many tournaments he won (although the Threshold produced Mortal Kombat: The Journey Begins states that he indeed won 9 straight tournaments in the name of Outworld; however, Threshold-produced media is non-canon), but we do know that the Great Kung Lao ended it.

If there is to be another adventure game, what would you want it to be about?

- I'd love to see a game where you play as Kitana, Mileena and Jade, working as assassins for Shao Kahn, being put on missions to kill his enemies and such.

Question 16: MK Fire & Ice!!!

I also am dying to see this.
Sadly, that game was in production by Paradox (aka Midway L.A.) and was cancelled.
I don't think we'll ever get a game like it. :(

The closest thing to MK: Fire and Ice that I'm hoping will happen in MKX is Sub-Zero and Scorpion forming an uneasy alliance to kill Quan Chi, once and for all.

Boons recent tweet, the one with the kittens,
i can't help thinking it has something to do
with the new "ality" thing...
