In MK1, Sub-Zero was my first character to play as. Mostly because my brother chose Scorpion and I wanted to be the other ninja.

First fatality.. I always watched my brothers pull off fatalities in MKT using the guide but I never had the patience to figure it out. Technically, my first fatality was Sub-Zero's MK4 but it doesn't really count because I used the automatic fatality cheat. Sadly, it wasn't until MKDA when I did my first real fatality.. Which was Sub-Zero's of course.

My all time favorite Mortal Kombat game (despite not having unmasked Sub-Zero) would have to be MKT on N64. Because the AI were too ridiculous for me at that age, I'd just pratice moves fighting an idle second player. I spent so many hours getting my ass kicked by the computer until I discovered the magical game-shark.

I couldn't possibly rate the games but MKT by far was my favorite both for nostalgia and compacting nearly everything from all three games in to one.
 
2. When I was younger I could never do the fatalities in MK3/MK4.
I had to wait til Deadly Alliance to do my first one (Bo' Rai Cho)

3. It's a tie between MK4 and MKD.
MK4 was the first Mortal Kombat that I really got into. That noise Raiden makes when he does his superman move is permanently burned into my brain. Spamming that was the only way I could beat Goro :laugh:
The music in that game is just amazing. Definitely the best soundtrack of any Mortal Kombat IMO.

But the konquest in Deception was a huge part of my childhood. Being able to run around all the realms, and talk to a bunch of Mortal Kombat characters was crazy to me back in the day. I remember waiting behind that tent in Edenia FOREVER for that chest with Liu Kang to pop up.

Then there was the time I ran into Meat in the Netherrealm. I had to restart my entire konquest and look for that bastard all over again just to prove to all my friends that he DID show up and hand me a bunch of money.

I already answered the first question (pretty sure it was Scorpion)

I'm almost positive it was MK4 that I did my first fatality. It was the one where Scorpion turns into a scorpion.

My favorite MK game is probably MK9. Before that it was MKII or maybe MKD. Although I probably spent more time with MKT than any other.

1. My first MK game was Mortal Kombat 2 on the Genesis back in 1996. I pick Reptile because he was green and my friend picked Sub-Zero. I remember I was in kindergarten and I went to my friends house to play some video games. I knew what Mortal Kombat was because of the movie. My life changed since then. Pokemon, Godzilla, Thomas the Tank Engine, Beast Wars, Power Rangers, Digimon and Mortal Kombat were my childhood.

2. I think it might have been MK3 on the Genesis. I hardly remember.

3. UMK3 is my favorite. My top 5 are:

1. UMK3
2. MK9
3. MK2
4. MKT
5. MK4/MKD (I like them both)

First Question: Scorpion

Second Question: Scorpion MK1

Question Three: MK2. For some reason i loved that game I spent the most time on MKT and MK9 though

Deception was my favorite. I'm only 14 so I never really played MK1-3 until...well, last month. I bought it for the Xbox 360. I also just played Deception a few months ago, and I liked the characters, the story, and Konquest mode.
 
MK9. I got into MK during the PS2 era, but the actual combat in those games is very sub-par. The original trilogy games are fun, and were probably amazing for their time, but not quite anymore. MK9 was a huge step in the right direction in terms of gameplay.

Deception would be the runner-up. It was my first MK, the music and darker atmosphere is awesome, Chess and Puzzle combat are fun as hell, and the Konquest Mode was a great timesink.
