2011's secret fights were fun finding out how to get them, would you like to see more secret fights, even with newer characters being included with them?

- I would rather they randomly popped up.
 
68. Yes, and make at least one of them a non-playable character. Preferably a ninja we've never seen before.

66 ) I'd be fine with that (at least for a good 3 to 4 years later) until I start wanting another MK game again. :laugh:

67 ) Neither. I hope that those 2 never appear in another MK game again or that they somehow have cameo parts in MKX, where they get killed off.

68 ) 2011's "secret fights" were too obvious with them being a nod to the MK1 Pit, Jade, Smoke in the Living Forest of MKII and Noob Saibot.
Given that MKX will have a new and original story, I'm hoping that the secret fights are more of an actual "secret," although I suspect that someone will spoil that or ruin it, given the nature of people on the interwebz these days.

69) If Test Your Luck came back, I would also like to see Dark Kombat come back, but with the screen lighting up only when someone is hit.
 
I agree with the troll. Ranvow kombat was a BLAST! But it would have been kooler if it made Skarlet a rainbow, would be a kool Khameleon reference.
 
68 - Yes, I'd like to see hidden fight again and mostly with new character.

69 - I'm going to be honest, Test Your Luck was neat but I'm not a fan of it at all. I couldn't care less.
 
70: I always wanted to see an alien type species. Not like those little green Martians. Something more like Predator. Something that's all tribal and stuff, but still with advanced weaponry. I thought it could also be a good explanation as to how the cyborg technology got into the hands of the Lin Kuei. I'm pretty sure that's never been explained, and I just don't see how the Lin Kuei would have the ability to make straight up robots. The Special Forces can't even make cyborgs, how did the Lin Kuei? Aliens? Probably.

71: I hate Taven with a passion. He's hands down the worst Mortal Kombat character ever made. He's generic, he's boring, and he pisses me off. Everything from his name to his design is just awful. I seriously hope Taven and Daegon are completely forgotten about and not even mentioned.
 
70. I would like to see a race of horse-like dragons used for ground transportation across Outworld.

If "Test Your Luck" were to come back for this game (or any), what status effect would you make to see happen in a fight?

- I'd like to see a Blood Mode where the characters spill huge amounts of blood for each hit, and it makes the floor slippery so the characters will randomly fall on their butts while fighting. :P

Is there a new race of creatures would you like to see be introduced? We have Tarkatans, whatever D'Vorah is, humans, what are we missing?

- A feline race, kinda like the Firran race from the ArcheAge MMO, but more vicious looking.

What character do you hate, just truly hate, and don't think you'll ever come around liking them... And why do you hate that character?

- I have a few, but should I pick just one, it would be Scorpion. I don't think he deserves his popularity, as I personally think he is a less than mediocre character both in design and story. The only redeeming factor he has is his spear move, everything else about him is simply boring and annoying.
A few others I quite dislike are Shinnok, Li Mei and Tremor.
 
70 - Anything new. As said above, some alien-like species or anything else medieval or inspired by mythology. I really dig the monster characters and more new ones wouod be great.

71 - I can honestly say there's not one character I honestly hate completely. Mokap is my least favorable. I know he's a tribute/joke but c'mon..

70 ) Even though he started off as a joke I actually wouldn't mind Zebron being included or someone from his race.
Given that NRS seems to have a hard time animating 4-legged creatures, maybe a horse-like creature that stands upright like a human could work.
I dunno.
If hidden / joke / glitch characters like Rain, Ermac, Reptile and Skarlet can be in, I don't know why a character like that can't

71 ) Completley hate? Probably Frost.
That said, if NRS can make me like Kenshi in MK9, then I'm willing to give her a chance again, given the proper revamp / overhaul.
 
70.I don't want to see any new races..I want them to flesh out the original 7 and actually make them stars .

He looks bad,he's nothing more than a henchmen imo .He should get a fatality in the story mode .I don't care who kills him.

29. It was a fun little feature. I'd love to see it return.

44. The slide out bar worked fine. Sure, it confused my siblings at first, but it worked out when I explained it to them.

46. As much as I'd love to see Edenia become its own realm again, I doubt it'll happen, what with Kitana and Sindel being dead and all.

47. I kind of want to see a Mortal Kombat RPG. It might be a happy marriage!

48. I'm gonna say Kira because Jarek already got Luigified from Kano in Armageddon with his rope moves and all.

49. Oh, gods... I'll have to go with Mokap. He seems to have less trouble communicating than Meat.

50. If I were handed the reins, I'd give Sheeva more of a story than a simple henchwoman's tale. Like maybe making her Queen of the Shokan.

52. I can see Liu Kang being an anti hero in MKX if he returns. Maybe his goal could be to stop Quan Chi and Kotal Khan, but his methods could be different.

53. Yes, I'd like to see Skarlet's return, maybe with a bigger role.

55. Frost seems to be a logical choice assuming she joins the Lin Kuei in this timeline.

71. I don't truly hate anyone in Mortal Kombat, but Darrius seems to be the least memorable character for me.

73) I don't understand where people are making such assumptions from, given that Ed Boon has said that the timeline skewed and this is an alternate timeline.

The Kombat Tether:
Given that this game begins shortly after the events of MK9 and spans about 25 years, without revealing too much, is it safe to say we could see events from MK4, Deadly Alliance, Deception and Armageddon reimagined?

Ed Boon:
There might be similarities but we are certainly not going to just follow that story because when you think about it, this is kind of like an alternate reality and anybody who looked at MK9 will know we kinda retold the MK story but events had changed, people had died and so you're probably not just going to see MK4 through to MK8 played out you know.

I really wish that people would read Ed's responses, before replying and assuming that MKX will just be MK4 thru Armageddon again.
I have a feeling that people who just assume that, will end up feeling disappointed when MKX turns out not to be that.


Anyways, my favorite thing about MK4 was probably Fujin, which I hope returns to MKX.
