Controversy

Guys, I've got to thinking, and I'm worried. I'm worried about the controversy that I think will probably rise up, if the Mileena Flesh Pit Costume rumors are true. I mean come on, it's a naked Mileena. You know that parents and politicians are going to go nuts over this. Even if they have Mileena's nipples covered, she's still naked. Why do I think this? Well seeing that parents and politicians will flip out over any and all sexual content in games. Take Mass Effect as an example. But on the bright side, it is highly likely that the ERSB has already seen and approved this costume, and will probably back us up on this. But I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Sigh... Is this thread REALLY NECESSARY? The M rating is the equivalent to the rated R rating in films, full frontal female nudity is allowed to be shown as long as the labia is not visibly seen. Besides, the flesh pit costume WAS in the Mileena Vignette, where certain areas are coincidentally covered up. And the ESRB wouldve known about full nudity, the whole game gets exposed to them. Relax people.

Try telling that to politicians, parents, and everyone else who still thinks that games are nothing more than toys for children. Have we already forgot about the Mass Effect controversy. The sexual scenes would have been perfectly fine in an R-rated film, it still made a big fuss with people like Fox News.

If the nudity or partial nudity is dropped from the game, at least we still get plenty of creative gory ways to kill people. Don't worry, no one will be getting horny or feel inspired to make love as a result of the release of this game.

As I said, the ESRB checks games THOROUGHLY, meaning ALL OBJECTIONAL CONTENT WOULDVE BEEN SEEN. If Mileena was fully naked, the game would have the content descriptor "Nudity" instead of "Partial Nudity". And besides, in Mass Effect, they actually banged, as opposed to just exposed body parts.

No publicity is bad publicity. The more Fox News gives air time to the game the more people are going to be curious about the game. Hell, MK has thrived on controversy since day 1. I'm sure Ed Boon and co would love to see this game getting all kids of attention from its content. Really don't get why anyone would be worried? Just means more games sold and MK being a household name again like in the 90s.

And I believe it is the costume in the concept art shown at the beginning of the Mileena video. Looks like she is covered up to the waist in blood and her hair covers here breasts. mmmmm :)

I'm sure the ESRB has already seen it since it's already gotten an M rating, so stop worrying.

The problem with your reasoning is that you have common sense behind it. And despite you being right, this will still be brought up and debated by politicians, parents, and newscasters because they don't have enough common sense. You can bring up all of the facts and have ample reasoning behind those facts, but sadly it won't matter to them because "You have to think of the children!" and because "These kinds of games are why murder rates are going up! and "You're more likely to do something violent to someone and become a danger to others if you play these types of games!" and other shit they make up...

Well, if anyone finds an actual in-game model of Mileena's Flesh-Pit Outfit, tell us about it, so at least we can shed some light on this rumor.

Try thinking more clearly because a guy has been fully naked in the 1st DLC episode for GTA 4, and I think that more has been revealed of woman in the sex mini game in God of War 3 then of Mileena in the new Mortal Kombat game. The producers could just say take a look at what those games have.
