Can't it just be simple like: Up/Down = away/towards screen (circle opponent) Left/Right = away/towards opponent Down diagonals = duck Up diagonals = jump away/towards opponent To allow jumping over projectiles, they just need to change the jump speed & trajectory, not the controls. Aiming at deathraps probably will be done the same way as in MKSM, i.e. point the controller joystick at the deathtrap.
