Confirmation the Lady in Red exists...

I might have an idea as to how she will be in the game, however, I cannot talk about that in this thread. If anyone cares to know my opinions, send me a message and I will tell you. Be sure you want to know though. There is a reason I can't outright say it in these posts. Wink Wink

The key word here is -WAS-.

Take one look at the girl in MK9. Who the hell is she a pallet swap of? No one. The term doesn't apply. But fear not. There are many slowmos who use the term incorrectly.

Never said she was a palette swap from the new game, I'm saying most of them started out as palette swaps in the original games so it makes it more even for the ladies.

Yeah I agree with what Ricochetmatt has to say because SKARLETT was the palette swap red ninja. We do not know for sure if this lady is indeed the same character, so calling her a palette swap would be absurd.

So anyway, to get back on topic... My main concern is if the character is playable or not. All the cryptic messages we've been getting about the game are making me go loony. Naturally, this is what they want us to feel like.
 
I don't understand how she will fight. MK characters have used damn near every power known to man. Will she just be another generic "Fireball & teleport" forgettable?

Moving on i believe she will be playable. They went through all the trouble of making her into someone that it would be a waste not to be able to use her. At least dlc

Did I not say that as well? Was is in the past. Now is in the now. And the woman in question is part of the now. We are living in the now and we are talking about the now. Do you understand the 'now' part of it or should I say it a few more times?

As for the misspelling of palette.... It's late. It happens. Wanna go there? Fine. Lets go there. Your face is stupid.
 
what confuses me...
lupinkos leaks were right till now and he has mentioned "the lady in red" as a playable character (he also mentioned she´s in the backround of kahns arena)...
in the leaked file she is not mentioned anywhere but human cyrax/sektor are not mentioned too although they were confirmed already by many sources ( including sanchez)

Being red im guessing she'll have red projectiles? because apart from Hsu Hao (lol) nobody's been given them.

Lupinko mentioned that she was nameless also though so it'll be hard to find info on her in the leaked files, that is if she was in them in the first place because the leaked files seem old to me.

As for the whole palette swap discussion the Lady in Red does have a mask, loincloth and other traits that Jade, Kitana and Mileena have so she could be considered a new palette swap? shes definetely a ninja.

Wouldn't it be cool if NRS dropped a update for anything, and just add that in there somewhere


All of a sudden you would get appearances from her, and possibly even POP up clues like Reptile did in MKI

Last night on Ed's twitter he tweeted that he was having a hard time with the challenge tower at only a little over 100 challenges. This suggests to me that regardless of what we have heard is the reward from clearing end game I still hold hope that a better reward can be obtained from clearing all challenges fair and square.
