Characters that for sure wont be in MK9 as DLC (Twitter proof)

^ They could always add more slots via patches.

I think the characters we'll most likely see as DLC other than Kenshi and Skarlett is Rain, Cyber Smoke, Reiko, Shinnok, Fujin and Tanya. I doubt they'll more than 8 or 9 characters. I also think that the announcer Fujin sound file could pull a "brutality" on us and that the real DLC Basemale character will end up being Shinnok or Rain. The DLC Basemale character is not Kenshi because I think his model is already complete, and he instead of the placeholder would have been leaked. I doubt that Fujin would come before either of these two; not saying he won't eventually be DLC just saying that I doubt we'll see him until July or August maybe.

When I first saw Boon's response I laughed. I'm not Tremor obsessed or anything, but I think he'd be fine and dandy as DLC. Boon's shutdown was humorous enough for me to be ok with him not making it in if that's how it goes lol.
 
Tremor would be a great character, controlling a new element in the MK world, earth and rock.

Still Rain is my most wanted DLC right now.

From the looks of this Rain and Tanya are most likely in...99% chance. He didnt deny them being in like he did the others. Also, older tweets confirms this too.

Looks like Havik, Fujin, Mavado, Mokap, Li Mei, and Kira wont make DLC.

I was pretty sure Havik would make it in since he's in Noob's ending and Boon posted a tweet of which DLC characters people would like to see (Havik was one of the ones in his list also Rain and Tanya), but I guess their saving the Chaos/Order thing for MK10. Fujin I knew wouldnt be in even though he was in Kratos ending, but that wont be seen on the 360 version anyway so that wouldnt confirm anything.

Li Mei is good but she needs a break anyways. If Tanya is realesed, I hope she looks like the one in your avatar. ;-)
 
I hope ppl continue to support this game through DLC so its stay strong and they keep pumping out DLC. Ppl on all sites should just stop complaining about DLC that should of already been in the game. DLC is being made from scratch. Its NOT on the disc, plus Boon said there will be some FREE DLC. I cant wait to see whats coming cuz I'll will most definately be buying all of it, I dont care what or who it is. I have been so impressed with everything and everyone in this game that I have faith in any kharacter,arena,fatality,etc.. they make. I want to see this game stay strong so I will continue to suppport it, plus I'm a big MK fan, so bring it on

Ermac and Skarlett are just more ninjas. What's your point?

And while Havik won't be DLC for this game, it is still very possible to see Fujin as DLC.
 
for one ermac isn't dlc. But i could care a less about scarlet too. my point is that fire powers are getting old to me and so are ninjas. So no characters i want just means i get to save money i guess

Theres not that many fire characters...plus Tanya is known for her flexible acrobatic moves anyways...Rain, all the ninjas look different from each other,one more wont hurt...I agree though sucks if Havik and Fujin dont make it
 
And who says that Tanya will have fire powers in this game? They could totally revamp her powers for all we know. Besides, the only characters that use fire prominently is Liu Kang, Scorpion (actually hellfire) and Kintaro. All 3 of those have other strengths to aid them in their fighting skills (Scorpion= Spectre/Undead Ninja, Liu Kang= Shaolin warrior/Mortal Kombat Champion/Kintaro= Shokan that specializes in brutality and pure strength). There are a lot of characters that have one special move involve the use of fire, but not enough to say that there are too many kombatants that use fire (prominently).

And all the ninjas are individualized to the point where you can't even call them ninjas anymore. Noob is a demonic wraith created to serve Quan Chi/Shinnok, Sub-Zero, Cyrax and Sektor are cyborgs/Lin Kuei warriors, Ermac is a fusion of souls created to serve Shao Kahn, Smoke is an enenra/part-demon/Lin Kuei warrior, Scorpion is an undead warrior/vengeful spectre who was a ninja in his former life, and Rain is an Edenian prince. As long as they can individualize them, then I'm all for more "palette-swapped ninjas".

Lui Kang, Scorpion, Shang, Kintaro, Sheeva, Tanya, Hotaru, Kai, Cobra, Taven, Daegon, Onaga, Blaze all have fire powers, thats not too many?

Another ninja with water powers, you have to appreciate that uniqueness, also if you dont like ninjas you are playing the wrong game, MK was always the ninjas franchise, of course there are other chars. but MK is known for its ninjas. More ninjas better!
 
ED BOON LIES ALOT!!!!!!!!!

I reckon he will add some of those characters that people have mentioned to him. he probably just doesnt want to give out hints to later DLC. ;)
