Meh, the gap isn't THAT huge, it's big, but not so big to the point where the character isn't nerfred to shit.

Do you even know what makes him top 5?

Insane corner damage. Trait that increases damage plus negates any and all armor in the game. Good mobility. Great zoning tools. Builds meter very quickly. MB Breath to extend combos with ease. 2 FRAME SUPER!! F,2,3 pressure. That's all I can think of that makes him top 5.

Bass, what would you do to superman to close the gap between him and A+ characters?
 
I would slightly decrease his damage output when his trait is active and give him more frames on his super. Maybe 8 frames instead of 2? That would probably do it , but if I had to say anything else then I would say to give him slightly less meter when using his lasers.
 
A big NO to less damage for Superman. Maybe in the corner, but that's about it. I'd agree with his Super being 8 frames. The Flash's Super should be 7 frames or less, because he is the fastest man.

I think Flash's super should be reduced to doing 36% damage instead of the current percent of 39%. But that's just my opinion

I said reduced damage while his trait is active. It's just like Shazams damage boosting trait but it breaks through ALL armor in the game , including Lex , DD , and Banes trait armor. It's ridiculously OP. I'm not saying take the damage buff away , I'm simply saying reduce the amount of damage boost he gets with his trait. What's wrong with that?
 
Agree with Flash's damage reduced, but in exchange, the start-up should be like 5 frames or less, since he's the fastest man alive.

It doesn't give that much of a boost. Example..

22%: F23, F23, F23~Flying Punch.

29%: F23, F23, F23~Flying Punch.

Only does 7% more on that combo. Also you aren't going to start your combo with trait active in most situations. Most likely it would be after the first F23. So more likely...

26%: F23~4, F23, F23~Flying Punch.

Even on his Super it only adds 6%.
 
Superman's trait can break armor, Bane's trait gives armor. Bane's is more damage output and lasts longer. Superman's doesn't last as long but no withdrawal. I'd say their traits are fairly equal but in different aspects. But Superman VS Bane... Superman would blow up Bane's trait.

I'm hoping you can catch up on the prequel comic thus far.
I guess that's a good trade-off. I also think that his Character Power should last a little longer since its turns off once he gets hit, or at least reduce the time it takes for his Character Power to re-charge
