Boogeyman

Post your thoughts on it. I think it'll probably be about as scary as The Village (Which means not at all). Why? Because it's rated PG-13.. eck..

Ill prolly see it, I think itll prolly be more like "They" or "Darkness Falls", but the horror movie I really wanna see is Hide and Seek, Dakota Fanning is an awesome actress.

PG13 doesn't necessarely means that it won't be Scary. Probably not too much violence...
I like Sam Riami movies (Evil Dead series). I'll probably see it.

I haven't seen boogeyman yet but after seeing the previews I thought that it could be very good or very confuseing. The horror movie that I'm looking foward to is Cursed.

Cursed is not a horror movie, it was more like comedy if anything. I and my cousin were able to see it early along with others who did a survey. We got free tickets to see it in a theater before it comes out, special screening. Anyway, I was disappointed. The trailer makes it look scary when it really wasn't. Maybe two or three jumps, but that was about it. The movie was cliche and you could tell who was the main bad wolf and all. I think it could have been way better. I give it one star. If you just want to watch it anyway, well that's you.

SPOILER SCENE!
There's a scene where the person turns into the wolf and calls Cristina Ricci's character a Bi*** and also sticks "her" middle finger at her after being called fat and ugly.

I actually just got back from seeing Boogeyman a couple hours ago. Honestly, I haven't jumped that much in a single movie in quite some time. It didn't go for any cheap blood and gore or excessive swearing or sexual content or anything (hence the PG-13 rating), it was just a decent scary flick. They kind of went a bit old school in how they did the film, too; you don't clearly see the "being" until near the end of the movie (that definitely made it scarier).

excellent

i think this movie (like almost every other new-age horror movie) was fine until the ending. the worst part by far was the poor....tribute to Sam Rami what i mean by this is the free roaming camera (like in the 3 evil dead) i like most of my friends and other horror fans went to see this because of what seemed to be the main selling point or this movie, being produced by Sam Rami i doubt this movie would ever be talked about if Rami's name wasent in every preview.

also whos idea was it to cast the mummy from bubba ho-tep as the boogeyman

I'm with you on the ending. Once you see the creature/guy/Boogeyman thing it's pretty much over. I thought the rest was pretty good, though, and that opening seen was killer (I think I peed a little there).

Boogeyman is like one of those "bipolar" movies, where some people LOVED it, and some people hated it. I loved it, especially the beginning scene. My friends and I went to see it, and we were all cracking jokes about Micheal Jackson in the closet and stuff, the part that scared me most, was when that damn Windex bird hit Tim's windshield, I was talking to my friend, and right when I looked back, "WHAM!!!" I actually screamed like a little girl a bit!
