Blocking overhead hits??

I remember when I first got the game and there was some Block vs attacks jump/high/low I had to get use to. like if you crouch block and someones jumps towards you with a jump punch. it will land. I didn't understand that.. But ya you gotta figure out the highs and lows for blocking.. I'v played every character enough to some extent know when to *press down even know I'm stand blocking ;)* hint hint.

Zero reaction time on air throws and hitting every single one when you barely jump off the ground is a blatant one. Especially pre-fight screen where you dial in the symbols. Sometimes those people blast through them. Even after the match, when you select "yes" or "no" sometimes you hear it rapidly ping when they say "yes."

that doesnt actually make sense, it still requires reaqction time it doesnt play the game for you.

and the last part, i hear that constantly, its more likely its the person repeatedly hitting the button befcause they are raging.

It makes perfect sense. Who has the timing to know when you're going to jump and to throw you 100% of the time with .05 second reaction time? No one. That's practically doing a standing throw.
The other is common sense too... unless you can physically press the "A" button for a rematch at least 10 times in .25 sec

The op confuses me. Does he think overheads always go thru blocking or something? You standblock vs overheads and lowblock vs lows. The key to landing your combos is with mixups or punishes.

I was thinking the same exact thing.. Glad i read this before posting o.o

no your bending reality to suite your own conspiracy with the first one.

you still have to have the reaction to press the button initially. the flaw in your post "who has the timing to KNOW WHEN your going to jump"

you cant predict and react at the same time, its to seperate functions. predicting is also entirely within your mind, no amount of turbo functions makes you predict faster. hell it doesnt make you react faster, it just makes you able to press a button more then once faster, the initial press is still just as fast.

as for the second one, ive never heard it that fast, rather it sounded just like them pressing the button rapidly.

Is the OP talking about fuzzy blocking?

Where someone is crouch blocking his noob's combos with a low block. Then stand blocks right when the overhead hits but it looks like he's still crouching?

OP post confuses me. I don't know what he's asking.

I've never used a turbo before, but wouldn't that mean the person could just jump and immediately press grab over and over with the turbo as soon as leaving the ground and grab them easier? But what confuses me is when I air grab I have a full grab motion and I can't repeat it, so wouldn't you only be able to press grab once while in the air making the turbo useless?

I air grab like a mofo, but many times they beat me with a punch, but I'm wondering are they hitting you in the air because I hit them in the air OR air kick while they are on the ground and I immediately grab. The animation looks like the opponent is barely even leaving the ground and I'm snatching them from like 5 feet away.
