Battle Arena Quarter Final Videos

I understand that this is all already predetermined, but why do they have to make it so obvious?
I mean come on, Green Arrow's fight was less than a minute.

Ageed.

Due to fanboyism, I'm calling it now:

Spoiler:
Superman vs Batman

Obvious fanboyism in "voting" is way too f***ing obvious

Yo thanks for the vid MrBlack :D.

Superman with the "kneel before me" and homeboys backing him up intro? Nice
Also Aquaman and Green Lantern's fight was a damn brawl!

Flash vs. Joker, damnit I lost

Batman vs. Wonder Woman, I picked the right one :proud:

Anyway I loved that they gave the characters the alts, love how NRS spoils us

Batman wins the whole thing. Calling it earliy, right now!

Nah.
That honor belongs to Superman.
You know because of him being the other very popular character on the roster, and since NRS is working for WB, having Superman win would be a good way to promote the new movie coming out this summer too (June 14th). :|

/sarcasm

I almost want to agree but Old Ass Batman did just beat Superman with the help of Green Arrow on the last animated movie. /sarcasm

True.

Either way, I see one of those 2 winning the finals.
Those 2 are the Sub-Zero and Scorpion of the DC Universe in Injustice.

*Le sigh*

1st:

It's been said since the beginning, that it'll be Batman vs. Superman in the finals. Why do people just now act like this is the most likely outcome? lol I seriously have seen 10 posts just today of people saying "i'm calling it now, it'll be Batman vs. Superman in the end, so lame blah blah blah". Was this really that much of a shocker?

2nd:

Does it matter? Does it honestly matter who wins this tournament where the winner gets nothing? This is purely for fun, to give us gameplay videos, and to promote the game. Letting fans pick their favorites... What difference does it make if it's Batman, Superman, Flash, or Harley Quinn in the end?

Just enjoy the show. :P

Welp, I guess I'm not allowed to voice my opinion then, huh?

It does matter when characters like Green Arrow are given less than a minute in the fight.

I wanted to see something new, some new animations or something with the Stephen Amell skin.

Sweet. The results has made me now 8-2 overall. I've called the right ones and I won all of them. The closest ones were the 2nd and 3rd matches.

But that Superman vs. Green Arrow match was definitely overkill. Plus I don't like the personality of Superman's alternate costume (Regime outfit). Reminds me of the Justice Lord version from the Justice League animated series AND the way he manhandled Ollie into submission, I'm kinda scared for the moment. Although it makes sense because of the story, to me, it sounds borderline evil.

I thought it was excellent, Regime Superman I mean. (Oh Superman, he's got this).

I mean the match was overkill for a reason guys. Green Arrow is cool but he ain't cool enough to beat Superman. Why drag on the fight when we knew who the winner is?

Also I like Ollie's default voice better

:) You know that's not what i'm implying. Hell, you're usually someone I look forward to reading their thoughts, even if it doesn't go along with mine.

My point is, I see on every single forum, on youtube, on facebook...the same complaints. It just gets tiresome. "Flash could never beat Shazam", "Joker beat Lex? BS this is just a popularity contest(yeah, that's the point...not sure why people thought otherwise)", and "Batman beat Wonder Woman?! No way, that's bullshit, she got robbed". As well as the Batman complaints in general, and the whole "Batman vs. Superman in the finals, so lame, stupid popularity cotnest". Well...even if it was based on who would actually win, the outcome wouldn't be much different. Superman would still go to the finals. And the other would either be Wonder Woman or Flash. Wonder Woman's gameplay has been pretty damn boring, so that wouldn't be the most exciting thing itself... And if you for some reason wanted other people to win, taking the popularity and logistics of who would actually win out of it, even if we get ____ vs. ____ in the finals, does it really matter?

That's all I was trying to say.

Anyways, my personal thoughts:

I love that they played up Batman's resourcefulness in this fight. For all the people that need things to make sense, i'm surprised this wasn't something people pointed out that they enjoyed. Whereas Wonder Woman just used her brute force, Batman was the one to use all the stage interactions and transitions to aid him in defeating her.

They all seemed to be a bit more logical in how the fights played out this time around. Batman was resourceful and tactical. The Flash was just too quick for the Joker to react in most cases. Green Lantern and Aquaman was a much closer fight than the other 3. Superman vs Green Arrow was mostly one sided and quick.

Was great seeing the alternate attires as well.

I bet that was embarassing for Wonder Woman to lose at homefield (it was fought on Themyscira) to Batman. But I have to agree with Blackcyborg here with the explanation on the fights.

Although opinion-wise, I still don't like Superman's personality in his Regime costume.
