Anyone else unable to open this door? (NOT THE SPIDER LEVER DOOR)

I've seen a lot of people posting about issues with the spider lever door (which I had none with and opened it easily).

but this door man... I'm assuming you need to go inside here to get the missing gem needed to progress further in the spider kaves.

This shit jus WONT OPEN.

You don't have to press it very quickly. My friend has a modded fight stick and he even tried it on turbo. It's just simply inaccessible until you explore the krypt more. Come back to it later.
 
I hold the controller sideways (like a wiimote) in one hand with the attack buttons towards me, and then bends my fingers on my other hand and uses the finger-joints quickly side to side over the buttons.

... If that makes any sense. Either way, it works like a charm! Since I learned to do that, I've had absolutely no problem with doing Test your Might either. ^^
 
Yeah, I went mental trying to open this door, but I managed to press it fast enough and it worked. Or maybe it was as Immortal Reaver said, and I explored most of the Krypt first.
 
I didn't have this problem. But when I go inside of Shao Kahn tomb the part where you use Raiden staff there is a timed box, but I don't get the option to buy it....

I have the same problem. I try to get it every day but I think that chest is glitched.
 
How do people have problems with the Spider Lever Door? The code is literally on the wall right before you turn into it....
 
I have no problems opening that spider door.



SIDE NOTE:
There is a gate that is locked in the graveyard, near Shao Kahn's Tomb.
I think it's locked from the other side.
I've unlocked the whole Kypt except for that 1 gate.
Anyone know how to unlock it?

You go in the spider caves, there's an entrance that leads you behind that gate. Forgot where exactly though. How do you enter Shao's tomb? What's that weapon that dispels the souls?

The katana [Sento] used by Kenshi, located within the spider caves iirc, is used to dispel the souls blocking entrance into Shao Khan's tomb. Hope that helps. ^ ^

Kenshi's sword.
In the spider cave, after you pick up Kotal Khan's Sword at (22,34), then use Kotal Khan's Sword to hack through the spider webs on the north wall at (6,35).
Inside this chamber,Kenshi's sword (Sento) is wedged in the large column of stone at the center of the room.

Using Sento in Shao Kahn's tomb will dispell all the souls and allow you to pass.
