Anyone else think Achievements/Trophies are a waste of time?

Trophies are awesome. I think it shows dedication. not everyone does it just to show off. its not like im going around showing everybody. you'd have to look for yourself. the only trophies i hate are the ones where you need dlc to get it. thats why i cant 100% bioshock. i only really attempt to get them after i already beat the game or sometimes i'll look at the start of a level to see if theres anything special in there to do so i can get it out of the way. call of duty gets really old so i'm not even gonna bother trying to get 100%. I literally dont have anything to play until the new MK but if i had a game i beat already i would for sure go back and hundred that mother****er. be thankful.

and i 100% god of war 3. 1000 hit combo was difficult
 
I've only platinumed Dead Space. It was fun. Gives me challenges I wouldn't think of otherwise. I still have gotten GoW 100 because of the damn challenge levels.
 
I Have no plats but I game all the time dont care for them its a plus but not really on my raydar but yes it shows some dedication but you dont have to get a plat to be awsome hahaha

just keep trying the Gow challenges. they were a little hare. the vase one, roll around and i think square @ everything
