Boon asked "Who should be first DLC", not IF they should be DLC. He pretty much confirmed all of the characters he mentioned as DLC.

Smoke is left guys, Sheeva has been revealed. Remember they showed shang tsung in the animation in Liu Kang's vignette, then gameplay later? Thats whats happening for Sheeva.
 
My prediction is, for the next four weeks of Mortal Mondays and Fatality Fridays we'll be seeing a lot of Kratos and character vignettes and gameplay videos until the game comes out. I actually want Smoke and Sheeva to stay secret til the game (mostly Smoke). I can pretty much guess Sheeva's look from her sneak peek, so I'm not in a rush to see her, but who knows what Smoke'll look like!

I was actually expecting Sheeva to be the character they revealed last night due to her lil cameo, but I guess that interview is about a month old or so.

Unfortunately I feel the thing about Kratos is true. Before all you PS3 fanboys flame me-- I HAVE A PS3, AND I DON"T CARE ABOUT KRATOS, IF YOU WANNA FLAME GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

With that being said, as most people that know me can assume, I would love for the next to be Smoke; however, NRS had said that they are going to have a lot of footage of Kratos before the release. The next three weeks will probably be dedicated to Kratos, and the few days before April 19 will reveal what X-Box's exclusive content will be.

Hey, I have a sincere question. I'm honestly not being a smart ass.

Has something changed with Rain? I remember a while ago everyone-well not everyone- accepted that he will be the first DLC.
More recently, everyone is thinking he is going to be in the game.

Did I miss something, or is this just a bunch of fan's wishful thinking? (Again, I'm not being sarcastic or a smart-ass; I'm legitimately asking.)

Well from what ive heard Quan Chi is now a seceret character which opens a slot up making 3 open slots= Sheeva, Rain, Smoke

I could be wrong too, Ive been hearing it alot lately so me personally im excited I actually like Rain I know alot of people dont seem too lol

I don't mind Rain. As I've stated before, every character including the 3D era should have a chance to make a stand. Rain more than others (Mokap- don't really need to see him).

I've always been the type to think: Okay I have my favorite character, but that doesn't mean that the new characters all suck.

Some people thing this way. Rain's story from MKA was legitimately interesting. Okay so it was another Edenian backstabber.. whatever. He's half god, and the half-brother of Daegon and Taven. Legitimately he feels he should have a right to Edenia. It would be cool to see him as a boss down the line. (I know most ppl wouldn't like that Idea, but whatever.)
