The two-on-one fights are challenging, but Shao Kahn ruined the game for me. There's nothing fun about it, whatsoever. If you can't cheese him down then you get killed in all of two seconds. It's an awful boss-fight and really should be rectified. I was having a lot of fun with the game until I had to polay him in story mode, and all the fun evaporated instantly.
Then I played Arcade and it was just as bad.
3 days and I returned the game :-/
Everything else was fantastic. I would have given the game a 9-9.5 out of 10 ... but with Shao Kahn it drops to an 8 at best. The entire game should not come to a screeching halt because of one cheap, poorly designed boss.

I love all three boss fights including Shao Khan. IMO I wish they made them cheaper. there is nothing I hate more than a fighter game I can blow through cause the bosses are easy
if youre rating a fighting game purely on boss fights you have no right to post on this forum or anyone take anything you ever say from now on serious. stay free
There is nothing "fun" about the Shao Kahn fights, and there's no reason to keep playing the game if it's literally impossible to advance.
Well I am at the
Spoiler:Liukang vs Shaokahn
fight right now, and it's just about impossible. I'm getting about 1 hit in before I die.
If anyone has any tips I would love to hear them.
Oh really? And what makes you the arbiter what someone has a "right" to say? My sincere apologies, Mr. President, I didn't realize I was breaking the law by having an opinion.
Shao Kahn utterly breaks the game, beginning to end. The entire story mode stops dead in its tracks when you have to face him as Liu Kang. In Arcade it's just as awful but at least you can play as a character like Scorpion who can just constantly teleport to avoid his cheap BS.

I'm sorry that your the kind of person who comes up to a challenge and doesn't get determined to beat it but gives up and misses out. I'd like to see you play challenge tower and go through the 200+ challenges.
