  • D'Vorah (Swarm Queen) - Added 2 buffer frames on Bug Bomb dash cancel combos if the opponent is in hit stun
  • Ferra/Torr - Deep Stab now does full damage when thrown backwards
  • Ferra/Torr (Lackey) - Back Breaker now does full damage when thrown backwards
  • Jacqui - Added 7 damage to Bionic Blast in all variations
  • Kitana (Royal Storm) - Bounce Back has 14 frame startup (down from 23 frames)
  • Kitana (Assassin) - Punishing Poke now correctly gets a damage buff from Sharpen / Razor Blade
  • Kitana (Mournful) - Reduced the block stun on the first Glaive of the Enhanced Glaive Throw by 8 (no longer jails from up close at min range)
  • Kung Lao (Tempest) - Hat Dance is +12 on block (down from +27)
  • Liu Kang (Flame Fist) - Fixed a bug where the recovery on Shaolin Flame (24) and Shaolin-ferno (15) using the other’s value
  • Shinnok - Hell Sparks / Hell Blast when enhanced is +14 on block (down from +24)
  • Tanya - Slight damage scaling adjustments
  • Tanya - Removed the invulnerability frames on her Teleports
  • Tanya - Added 10 recovery frames after landing from a Teleport naturally
  • Tanya - Added 10 recovery frames after landing from a Teleport after a missed or blocked normal attack
  • Tanya - You can no longer chain into ground attacks or 2in1 special cancel after landing from a Teleport after a blocked jump attack
  • Tanya (Pyromancer) - Added 5 recovery frames to Air Fire Blasts after a Teleport

Lol, i just turned my PS4 on and saw the new update file and came here to ask what was included in it. Well, i just saw people going nuts at the TYM forum discussing Tanya. Guess she's not overpowered that much now.
 
Aaaawww Crap. I didn't play the update yet, but if becomes what I think it means then it may be time we drop the new hashtag for NRS.

Hello, my first time posting here and I was playing a Living Tower with Sonya and happened to notice that she now has a third fatality in the game. Sonya New Fatality.jpg
 
That's for the Klassic Fatality Pack and is there since the last update. Johnny, Scorpion and Sub-Zero have one too
 
Meh.

It's pretty much how I afraid it's going to be. There's nerfs and buffs way too much and way too fast. MKX's tournament scene isn't that impressive or interesting to even start with but now it's just ridicolous. instead of letting tournament / online / local players to actually experiment their characters and their potential, seems that NRS just nerf and buff character according to every ragemail they get from the casual players.

SF for instance handle balancing much better or at least I hugely prefer it since they don't release balance patch about 2 weeks before the most anticipated fighting game tournament in the year, lol. Pretty hard to make adjustments.

And what comes to Tanya, can't really say anything about her since I've only played as her once in my friend's house, as well watched couple of videos. The oddest thing is that some of the special moves look awkwardly the same than some specials / command normals that Dhalsim, Decapre, Cammy and Oni are having in USFIV.

Not alot of people played Tempest, I always sticked with Buzzsaw and they heard it got buffed to hell, everyone jumped on Lao, thank god they nerfed it a little to make it more balanced.

I know its alot of nerf and buffing going on, but this can only result in perfecting the balance in the end, im sure when all characters are released MKX will probably be one of the most balanced fighting games out there (atleast I hope)

PS: where's that Kung Jin Boju nerf huh? :)

Kung Lao, Jax, Mileena and Kitana also have a 3rd / Klassic Fatality spot, coming in the 2nd Fatality Pack.
