I wouldnt waste money on Cyber-Smoke, i was happier to see him as human smoke than cyborg to be honest. I hope they bring in someone with strong potential.
Cyber-Smoke appeals to old school fans, but its as easy as making him a MK3 outfit and everyone having to deal with Human Smoke moves. The only difference i see between the two is a scorpion spear, now replaced with a smoke bomb teleport.

I really hope its Shujinko or Havok. However i wouldnt be suprised if its Tanya seeing as how shes chained by Shao Kahn, and thats how they hinted at Skarlet, but who knows NRS are tricky

Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't this Reiko's silhouette? Look at him closely... Perhaps Reiko is the 4th DLC fighter! But I'snt Shao Khan and Reiko one in the same (His MK4 ending)...

It could be Fujin, reiko, Kai or Tremor !

They will never release Tremor. It cant be Fujin because he has no long hair and Kai is a pathetic fighter to release so it CANT be him either!!! But look at the silhouette's wrist plates and shoulder pads... looks like Reiko's MK4 costume... Although, its probably gonna be Fujin as the 4th DLC seeing as how there's an announcer file saying "Fujin" on the character select screen in the hacked Xbox 360 version of the game.

He is suitable for MK9

I think it's Reiko, simply because he is mentioned in story. Although Fujin does have that audio file, but I dont think its really. Possibly just an enhance sound from Kratos's ending. I would like to see either Tremor or Chameleon. For Cyber-Smoke, I honestly think he could be a dlc skin.

nope in deception during conquest mode shao kahn states reiko has been sneaking into his throne room and sends you on a mission to stop that

I think it is very confirmed that is a new character. I remember the season pass announcement saying something like.

"Skarlet, Kenshi, Rain and a new entrant to the Mortal Kombat tournament"

Besides, why the mistery in an old character?
Why would they go in secret with post-UMK3 chars when they know that people hates most of them If someone would be hidden in mistery it would be Rain (UMK3), but he's announced, so I think is pretty obvious that is a new char.
Though im just using logic, maybe Im wrong.

I like when people use things like the announcer saying Fujin's name or just saying what they think feels right, but all the craziness over that generic placeholder silhouette has me scratching my head. I cannot imagine the silhouette being an accurate representation of any character. It just looks like a dude in a suit, there's no shoulder pads to indicate Reiko, there's no long braid to say it's Fujin, I've never known Kai to wear a suit, and Tremor is way bulkier than that if I recall. This is just my opinion, but that silhouette really doesn't look like anything to me. I just think it's a way for NRS to announce another character's presence without offering any details that might spoil the surprise.

I love the hype machine that NRS so efficiently fuels, but the logic of some of the posts confuse me. I think a new character could be cool, I really dug Skarlet, and Fujin or Reiko or Cyber-Smoke, etc could be a nice compliment to the current roster but I don't make any of my guesses off the silhouette was really confused to see a number of people doing just that. Especially so emphatically. *shrugs* Just my two cents.

I think that's a pretty weighty piece of evidence but it is by no means a confirmation. I could think of a number of ways NRS could trick us with that and if I can think of it, so can NRS lol.

a "new entrant to the Mortal Kombat tournament" could mean Tanya or Fujin as neither of them made any appearances in the original tournaments. They might not be saying that like the person will be new to the overall MK Universe, just that they're new to the tournaments happening in the current storyline. It's a long way to go just to mess with our heads, but this is NRS. =P

It could be Tanya. After all, I've heard that Tanya is one of Ed Boon's favorite characters in the whole series. I'm hoping it's Tanya too.

it could be Frost, she was one of the more popular post UMK3 characters created along with Kenshi. after all she appears in the background of pit stage fighting so they already have basic character model i'd wager. plus if NRS keeps cyber sub canon they bring her in so there's a human cryomancer to take human sub's place. just my theory. i'm not buying the mystery pic automaticly meaning a male character, it's just a place holder.

The only one that i could see fitting into MK is Enzio from AC. I think he would be a bad ass.

Considering how Boon messes with fans, it's hard to take him at his word on everything he says haha.

Well Frost would be nice! They should make the 4th DLC a female character! We have tooooooooo many males in this game and not enough bit**es
