Moving over to a manual account approval system. As much as I figure, this place isn't attracting many new people. So, we'll see how we can weed out the noise from legit new accounts.

We can probably consider redesigning the front page to just not have news on it. We could highlight the game guides, our old features, and the forums somehow. Will see if I can drum up some free time this holiday break to work on it. No promises.

It's possible that I had to nuke a couple of pinned threads in a forum. Collateral damage I'm afraid. :(

Clean up was a bitch, but I believe we have it back under control.

There's some conditional logic that I was attempting to use there to only show it every 5 messages. I'll have to go back to the drawing board. It's disabled for now.

Those who wanted this to happen, may finally get their wish due to a forced upgrade of our php version. A new placeholder front page will appear shortly while we work on a new front page that archives our news posts and promotes the forums, gamespaces and features.
