On MK9 note. I already stopped taking the game seriously. I took it seriously for a while. I think it's a good game. But it's lacking some sort of finesse to make it complete and powerfully unique.
I still play SSBM somewhat seriously but because i've been on a 1 year hiatus on that game I've gotten REAL rusty and fallen behind on the metagame.
and yes i play games for pure fun. But once I've experienced depth... I need more depth to satisfy my needs as anything less becomes shallow to me.

I'm an extemely competitive player, and this game just has more to offer in terms of depth. You may not see the depth yet because you're a nooby, but in time you will be blown away by just how much dept is really in Starcraft 2. And why it's a huge E-sport globally.

have you seen the UMS games starcraft has to offer? have you tried playing any? look up Starcraft 2 UMS on youtube sometime. You can pretty much create any kind of game you want in Starcraft 2 Map editor. -
